Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the superhero movie Shazam! directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Asher Angel, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Faithe Herman, Cooper Andrews and Marta Milans. The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the horror thriller Pet Sematary directed by Kevin Kölsch & Dennis Widmyer and starring Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, John Lithgow. Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Drag Me to Hell, Ghost Rider) has composed the film’s original music. Paramount Music has released soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Starcrawler’s cover of the Ramones’ title song, which plays over the movie’s end credits.
