The film is written and directed by Nicolas Pesce (Piercing) and stars Andrea Riseborough, John Cho, Demián Bichir, Jacki Weaver, Betty Gilpin and Lin Shaye. The movie based on the 2002 Japanese feature Ju-on: The Grudge and the 2004 U.S. remake (scored by Christopher Young) revolves around a house that is haunted by a vengeful ghost that curses those who enter it…with a violent death. ‘Child’s Play 2’ Soundtrack to Be Released

La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1990 horror sequel Child’s Play 2 directed by John Lafia and starring Alex Vincent, Jenny Agutter and Christine Elise. The album features the film’s original music composed by Graeme Revell (The Crow, Tomb Raider, Dead Calm, Daredevil, The Siege, Pitch Black). Shirley Walker (Final Destination, Memoirs of an Invisible Man) conducted and orchestrated the score. The CD, which is limited to 3,000 copies, marks the sixth title in the Universal Pictures Film Music Heritage Collection. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1986 sci-fi adventure comedy Howard the Duck directed by Willard Huyck and starring Lea Thompson, Jeffrey Jones and Tim Robbins. The 3-CD set features the expanded original music from the Lucasfilm production composed and conducted by John Barry (Goldfinger, Out of Africa, Dances with Wolves). Also included is additional music by Sylvester Levay (Hot Shots!, Cobra), as well as the movie’s original songs produced by Thomas Dolby. WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the thriller Joker. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Hildur Gudnadottir (Chernobyl, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Mary Magdalene, Strong Island). The album features the film’s original music composed by director Alejandro Amenábar (The Others, The Sea Inside). While at War is co-written and directed by Amenábar and stars Karra Elejalde, Eduard Fernández, Santi Prego, Tito Valverde, Luis Bermejo and Nathalie Poza.
