The track list of the soundtrack album for Todd Phillips’ psychological thriller Joker: Folie à Deux has been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie performed by lead actors Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, including covers versions of classics such as For Once in My Life, If My Friends Could See Me Now, That’s Entertainment, That’s Life, When You’re Smiling (The Whole World Smiles With You), among other tracks, as well as the original song Folie à Deux written, produced and performed by Gaga. The soundtrack, which is produced by Phoenix, Gaga (who is also credited as the project’s music consultant), executive music producer Jason Ruder and executive produced by Phillips, Joaquin Phoenix and music supervisors Randall Poster & George Drakoulias, will be released digitally and physically (on CD and vinyl) this Friday, October 4 by Interscope Records. Hildur Guðnadóttir is returning to score the upcoming psychological thriller Joker: Folie à Deux. The sequel to the 2019 Joker film, for which the composer received her first Academy Award, is directed by Todd Phillips and stars Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Zazie Beetz who reprises her role of Sophie Dumond. They are joined by new cast members Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey. No plot details have been announced yet.

Hildur Gudnadottir to Score Todd Phillips’ ‘Joker’ Origin Movie
Hildur Gudnadottir has been hired to score the upcoming Joker origin movie. Todd Phillips (The Hangover, Old School, Starsky & Hutch, War Dogs) will direct the film, which is set to star Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, alongside Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Zazie Beetz and Marc Maron. The movie based on the DC Comics character is reportedly set in Gotham City in the early 1980s. No plot details have been announced yet. Phillips has also co-written the screenplay with Scott Silver (The Fighter, 8 Mile) and is producing the project with Emma Tillinger Koskoff (The Wolf of Wall Street, Silence).
Todd Phillips’ ‘Arms and the Dudes’ to Feature Music by Cliff Martinez
Cliff Martinez has composed the music for the upcoming comedy Arms and the Dudes. The film is directed by Todd Phillips and stars Miles Teller, Jonah Hill, Ana de Armas and JB Blanc. The movie is based on a Rolling Stone article by Guy Lawson and follows two unlikely arms dealers who received a $300 million contract to supply weapons for U.S. allies in Afghanistan and soon found themselves in danger abroad and in trouble back home because they were completely out of their depth. Phillips is also producing the project with Scott Budnick, Mark Gordon (Saving Private Ryan, Speed, Steve Jobs) and Bryan Zuriff (Ray Donovan, The Details).
