La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 action movie Navy Seals directed by Lewis Teague and starring Charlie Sheen, Michael Biehn, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer, Rick Rossovich, Bill Paxton, Cyril O’Reilly and Dennis Haysbert. The album features the original music from the Orion Pictures production composed and conducted by Sylvester Levay (Hot Shots!, Airwolf, Mannequin, Cobra, Stone Cold). The soundtrack includes the same content as Intrada Records’ 2010 premiere release for its main score presentation, resequenced into chronological order and with a re-creation of the end titles and also features additional bonus mono cues. The CD is limited to 1,000 copies and will be available to order later today on the label’s official website.

Remastered ‘Three O’Clock High’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1987 teen comedy Three O’Clock High directed by Phil Joanou and starring Casey Siemaszko, Richard Tyson, Anne Ryan, Jonathan Wise, Stacey Glick, Jeffrey Tambor and Philip Baker Hall. The album features the remastered original score from the film composed by Tangerine Dream (Thief, Legend, Risky Business, Miracle Mile, Near Dark), as well as additional music composed by Sylvester Levay (Hot Shots!, Mannequin) and the song Something to Remember Me By by Jim Walker. The soundtrack is now available to order as a CD version (limited to 1,000 copies) on the label’s official website. A vinyl edition (in a black and blue variant) is set to come out on January 27, 2023 (the black version is also available to order on other retailers, including Amazon).
Expanded ‘Howard the Duck’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1986 sci-fi adventure comedy Howard the Duck directed by Willard Huyck and starring Lea Thompson, Jeffrey Jones and Tim Robbins. The 3-CD set features the expanded original music from the Lucasfilm production composed and conducted by John Barry (Goldfinger, Out of Africa, Dances with Wolves). Also included is additional music by Sylvester Levay (Hot Shots!, Cobra), as well as the movie’s original songs produced by Thomas Dolby.
