‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Soundtrack Announced

A soundtrack album will be released for the Japanese action horror movie Tokyo Ghoul. The album features the film’s original music composed by Don Davis (The Matrix TrilogyJurassic Park IIIBehind Enemy Lines). The soundtrack will be released on July 26, 2017 and is now available as an import on Amazon. Tokyo Ghoul is directed by Kentaro Hagiwara and stars Masataka Kubota, Yu Aoi, Shunya Shiraishi, Seika Furuhata, Tomoya Maeno, Dankan and Ryo Iwamats. The movie is based on the bestselling Manga of the same title and tells the story of human-eating creatures called “ghouls” that are spreading throughout the Japanese capital. Siddhartha Khosla is set to compose the score for the upcoming CBS comedy Me, Myself & I. The show is created by Dan Kopelman (Rules of Engagement) and stars Bobby Moynihan, Jack Dylan Grazer, Brian Unger, Jaleel White, Kelen Coleman, Skylar Gray, Christopher Paul Richards, Mandell Maughan, Reylynn Caster, Sharon Lawrence and John Larroquette. Frederik Wiedmann is composing the music for the upcoming action thriller Stoic. The film is directed by Isaac Florentine (Ninja) and stars Antonio Banderas, Karl Urban, Cristina Serafini, Atanas Srebrev, Paz Vega, Robert Forster, Mark Rhino Smith, David Sakurai and Raicho Vasilev. The movie revolves around a fast-talking lawyer who is forced to take the law into his own hands and transforms his body to avenge his murdered wife and son. Matt Venne (White Noise 2: The Light) wrote the screenplay. Yariv Lerner and Les Weldon (The Expendables, London Has Fallen) are producing the project for Millennium Films/Nu Image. The full details of the Walt Disney Records Legacy Collection release for Disney Animation’s 1973 classic Robnin Hood have been revealed. The album features the film’s original songs and score composed by George Bruns (The Jungle Book101 DalmationsThe AristoCats) who received an Academy Award nomination for the original song Love from the movie. Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3HellraiserThe Exorcism of Emily RoseDrag Me to Hell) is attached to compose the music for the upcoming animated feature NEW-GEN: Deadalus Rising. The film directed by J.D. Matonti is based on the NEW-GEN comic book series created by the Matonti brothers & Julia Coppola and distributed through Marvel. The movie follows twin brothers, Chris and Sean, who have extraordinary abilities which have made them outcasts on their adopted home planet of Earth. ITV Studios has released a soundtrack album for the mini-series The Loch. The album features the music from the 6-parter composed by Ben Bartlett (Walking with DinosaursThe Mark of CainThe Ballad of Big Al). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Loch is created by Stephen Brady (Fortitude, Vera) and stars Laura Fraser, Siobhan Finneran, William Ash, Jack Bannon, Don Gilét, John Heffernan, Simone Lahbib and Alastair Mackenzie. The film is written and directed by Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs Evil) and stars Adam Scott, Evangeline Lilly, Donald Faison, Chris D’Elia, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Brad Williams, Marcus Terrell Smith,and Tyler Labine. Alan Menken revealed today at Disney’s D23 Expo that he is writing new songs for the upcoming film adaptation of the animated Disney classic Aladdin. He will be collaborating with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan HansenLa La Land) who will be providing the lyrics for the songs. Howard Ashman and Tim Rice wrote the lyrics for Menken’s songs from the 1992 film, which are also expected to be featured in the remake. Guy Ritchie (SnatchSherlock Holmes) is attached to direct the movie, which will star Mena Massoud in the title role, alongside Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Will Smith as the Genie. ‘Fargo’ Year 3 Soundtrack Details

Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Fargo. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (Legion, The Night OfPowerSnowfall) who recently received his third Emmy Award nomination for his work on the drama. Premiering tomorrow, July 17, is the new AMC and Channel 4 original series Loaded developed by Jon Brown based on the Israeli comedy drama Mesudarim and starring Jim Howick, Samuel Anderson, Jonny Sweet, Nick Helm and Mary McCormack. The show’s original music is composed by Jack C. Arnold (AlbatrossWar Book). Loaded revolves around the lives of three tech entrepreneurs and friends who have just sold their start up videogame company for hundreds of millions of pounds. Premiering on Friday, July 21, is the Disney Channel original movie Descendants 2 directed by Kenny Ortega and starring Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, China Anne McClain, Thomas Doherty, Dylan Playfair and Mitchell Hope.
