Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Pharrell Williams has recorded an original song for the new Netflix documentary The Black Godfather. The song, entitled Letter to My Godfather, will be released as a digital single tomorrow, June 7 by Epic Records. Click here to download the track and to listen to the full song after the jump. Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the Child’s Play reboot. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day, Outlander). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 14, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. (UPDATE, JUNE 25): A CD version will be released on June 28 by Sparks & Shadows and will be available to purchase here. Child’s Play is directed by Lars Klevberg and stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, Gabriel Bateman, as well as Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky. Legacy Recordings has announced a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Stranger Things. The album features 15 classic tracks from the show’s third season and the debut of an original cast recording. The full track list will be revealed after the new season premieres. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on July 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version) and here (digital version). A vinyl edition is set to come out on July 26 (click here to pre-order). The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the first two seasons, while Lakeshore Records has released soundtracks featuring the show’s original score.
