Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the indie thriller Low Tide. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brooke Blair & Will Blair (Green Room, Blue Ruin, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, Hold the Dark). Low Tide is written and directed by Kevin McMullin and stars Keean Johnson, Jaeden Martel, Alex Neustaedter, Daniel Zolghadri, Kristine Froseth and Shea Whigham. The movie revolves around three troublemaking friends, who spend their summer days on the boardwalk, breaking into local vacation homes at night, in search of valuables they can pawn to fund their antics. MGM Records and 12Tone Music have released the first original song from the animated feature The Addams Family. The track is written and performed by Migos, KAROL G, Snoop Dogg & Rock Mafia. The song, entitled My Family, is now available to stream and download as a digital single on Amazon. Also check out the lyric video after the jump. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, The Act) who has previously collaborated with Hawley on FX’s Fargo and Legion, among other projects. Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren has written the original song Hide the Hurt for the documentary Cracked Up. The track is performed by Macy Gray and will be released as a digital single tomorrow, September 13 by Artistry Music and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Warren who has been Oscar-nominated four out of the last five years has previously contributed original songs for this year’s Late Night, Breakthrough and Miss Bala. Cracked Up directed by Michelle Esrick follows the comedian, actor, and SNL icon Darrell Hammond and examines the lasting effects of childhood trauma.
