Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege. The show based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is the first part of a trilogy and begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticon. The 6-parter follows two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as they both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. The full composer line-up of the first episodes of Apple TV+’s reboot of the anthology series Amazing Stories has been revealed. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, Return to Me, Captain Ron) has scored the first episode, The Cellar (premiering on March 6), directed by Chris Long (The Americans) and starring Victoria Pedretti and Dylan O’Brien. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man) & Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Thinning) have co-scored the second episode, The Heat (premiering on March 13), directed by Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, The Losers) and starring E’myri Crutchfield, Hailey Kilgore and Shane Paul McGhie.
