Lakeshore Records will release two soundtrack albums for the AMC original series Dispatches from Elsewhere. The albums feature the show’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, Watchmen, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Earthquake Bird, Broken City) . Opening in the U.S. in select drive-in theaters and on VOD today is the western True History of the Kelly Gang directed by Justin Kurzel and starring George MacKay, Essie Davis, Nicholas Hoult, Charlie Hunnam, Russell Crowe, Thomasin McKenzie, Sean Keenan, Orlando Schwerdt, Earl Cave, Marlon Williams and Louis Hewison. The film’s original music is composed by Jed Kurzel (Alien: Covenant, Macbeth, The Babadook, The Mustang, The Snowtown Murders). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year when the movie opened in Australia. Also opening on VOD is the historical drama Robert the Bruce directed by Richard Gray and starring Angus Macfadyen (who is reprising his role from Mel Gibson’s Braveheart), Jared Harris, Anna Hutchinson, Patrick Fugit, Emma Kenney, Zach McGowan, Daniel Portman, Talitha Eliana Bateman and Mhairi Calvey. Mel Elias (Blush) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The song (originally written by Charlotte Caffey) is performed by cast members Jessica Rothe, Jessie Ennis, Chloe Bennet & Ashleigh Murray and produced by Harvey Mason Jr. The track is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon. Benson Taylor (London Fields, The Perfect Dictatorship) has been tapped to score the upcoming action comedy Chick Fight. The film is directed by Paul Leyden (Come Back to Me) and stars Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin, Bella Thorne, Dulcé Sloan, Fortune Feimster and Alec Mapa. The movie follows a woman who hasn’t reconciled with the recent death of her adored mother, when she gets introduced to an an underground, all-female fight club in order to turn the mess of her life around. Joseph Downey wrote the screenplay. Akerman is also producing the project with Yale Productions’ Jordan Yale Levine (Jack Goes Home), Jordan Beckerman (Crypto) & Michael J.
