Composer Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, 300, John Wick, Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen) will release his original soundtrack for the Netflix docu-series FightWorld. The album features the show’s original music by Bates who recorded his score at Capitol Studios in Hollywood with an all-star group of Los Angeles’ best musicians who improvised all of the music while reacting to picture. Lin-Manuel Miranda to Compose Music for Disney Animated Musical ‘Encanto’

Lin-Manuel Miranda has confirmed in an interview on today’s Good Morning America that he has been working on the music for a new animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The movie, which has the working title Encanto according to The Disinsider will be directed by Byron Howard (Tangled, Bolt) and Jared Bush (Zootopia). The animated musical will take place in Colombia and revolves around a young girl and her family. Charise Castro Smith serves as a co-director on the project. Sony Masterworks has released the first track from the soundtrack for Francois Ozon’s coming-of-age drama Summer of 85 (Été 85). JB Dunckel (K.O., Capital in the Twenty-First Century, The Summer of Sangaile, Cyprien) of AIR has composed the film’s original music. The movie is based on Héctor Abad Faciolince’s novel of the same title and tells the true story of his father, Colombian human rights activist Héctor Abad Gómez, a man torn between the love of his family and his political fight set in the violence-riddled Colombia of recent decades. The film’s original music is composed by Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Disturbia, The Odd Life of Timothy Green). Rock Action Records has released a full soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Outlaw King. The album features the film’s original music composed by Grey Dogs. Milan Records has previously released a single featuring three tracks from Grey Dogs’ score when the movie premiered back in 2018.
