Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the family comedy The War with Grandpa directed by Tim Hill and starring Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, Oakes Fegley, Christopher Walken, Rob Riggle, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour. The film’s original score is composed by Aaron Zigman (The Notebook, Bridge to Terabithia, The Proposal, John Q, Sex and the City: The Movie). No word on a soundtrack release. Also opening nationwide is the music-themed drama Yellow Rose co-written and directed by Diane Paragas and starring Eva Noblezada, Salonga, Princess Punzalan, Watson, Gustavo Gomez, Libby Villari and Liam Booth. Christopher H. Knight (Echo Park) has composed the film’s original score and Paragas and Dale Watson have composed the movie’s original songs today. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs performed by the drama’s cast.
