The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Judas and the Black Messiah have been announced. The album features the original song Fight for You performed by H.E.R. (already available now as a digital single), as well as other songs inspired by the movie by artists such as Nas, Nipsey Hussle & Jay-Z, Hit-Boy, Black Thought, Lil Durk, G Herbo, Rakim, Polo G & others. Hit-Boy, Ryan Coogler, Dash Sherrod and Archie Davis serve as the record’s executive producers. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 12 and will be available to stream/download here. A separate album featuring Mark Isham’s & Craig Harris’ score will be released by WaterTower Music. Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming animated feature Ron’s Gone Wrong. The film co-directed by J.P. Vine & Octavio E. Rodriguez is set in a world where walking, talking, digitally connected bots have become children’s best friends and tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who finds that his robot buddy doesn’t quite work. Sarah Smith (Arthur Christmas) co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Baynham (Hotel Transylvania) and is also producing the Locksmith Animation production with Julie Lockhart (Shaun the Sheep Movie, The Pirates!
