Milan Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series White Lines. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Alita: Battle Angel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Black Mass, Divergent). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 15 and will be available to stream/download here. White Lines is created by Álex Pina (Money Heist) and stars Laura Haddock, Nuno Lopes, Marta Milans, Daniel Mays, Juan Diego Botto, Laurence Fox and Angela Griffin. The drama follows a young woman who leaves her quiet life behind to investigate her brother’s disappearance in Ibiza, where she quickly heads down a decadent and dangerous path.

Carter Burwell Scoring Netflix’s ‘Space Force’
Carter Burwell (Fargo, Carol, Twilight, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, True Grit) has recently scored the first season of the upcoming Netflix original series Space Force. The show is created by Steve Carell & Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) and stars Carell himself, alongside John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow and Don Lake. The comedy revolves around a decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force as he is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force.
Mikael Åkerfeldt to Compose Music for Netflix’s ‘Clark’
Netflix has announced today that songwriter Mikael Åkerfeldt, lead vocalist and guitarist of the metal band Opeth, is set to compose the music for the upcoming Netflix original series Clark. The show is co-written and directed by Jonas Åkerlund (Lords of Chaos, Polar) and stars Bill Skarsgård as Swedish criminal Clark Olofsson who has been referred to as a “celebrity gangster” and has given rise to the concept of Stockholm syndrome, managed to escape prisons and committed robberies all over Europe. The 6-parter is based Olofsson’s autobiography Vafan var det som hände and will follow his early years until present day. Åkerlund and Skarsgård are also executive producing the Scandinavian Content Group production with Hans Engholm.

Premiering tonight is the HBO limited series I Know This Much Is True written and directed by Derek Cianfrance and starring Mark Ruffalo, Melissa Leo, Rosie O’Donnell, Archie Panjabi, Imogen Poots, Philip Ettinger, John Procaccino, Rob Huebel, Aisling Franciosi, Bruce Greenwood, Brian Goodman, Juliette Lewis and Kathryn Hahn. Dave Porter Scoring Starz’s ‘Hightown’
Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, Preacher, The Disaster Artist) is the composer of the new Starz original series Hightown. The show is created by Rebecca Cutter and stars Monica Raymund, James Badge Dale, Riley Voelkel, Shane Harper, Amaury Nolasco, Atkins Estimond and Dohn Norwood . The drama is set in idyllic, but bleak Cape Cod and follows one woman’s journey to sobriety, overshadowed by an unfolding murder investigation. Cutter is also executive producing the project with Gary Lennon (Power, Euphoria), Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean, Armageddon, Top Gun), Jonathan Littman (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami), KristieAnne Reed (Lucifer, L.A.’s Finest) and Ellen H. Schwartz.

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the HBO original series Betty. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Aska Matsumiya (Skate Kitchen, Spelah and the Spades, 37 Seconds). Also included are songs by Cigarettes After Sex, Rosehardt, Ruby Haunt, Volta Jazz & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, May 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Betty is created and directed by Crystal Moselle based on her feature Skate Kitchen and stars Dede Lovelace, Moonbear, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell and Rachelle Vinberg. The drama follows a diverse group of young women navigate their lives through the male-dominated world of skateboarding in New York City.
Steven & Julie Bernstein Scoring Hulu’s ‘Animaniacs’ Reboot
Steven Bernstein & Julie Bernstein have recently been scoring the upcoming reboot of the animated series Animaniacs. Steven Spielberg returns as executive producer of the show, which revolves around Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sisters who have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. Pinky and the Brain will also make appearances in each episode. Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell,Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche and Frank Welker are among the project’s voice cast. Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10), President of Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series, and Amblin Television Co-Presidents Justin Falvey & Darryl Frank (The Americans, Under the Dome) are also executive producing the project.
Soundtrack Album for Disney’s ‘101 Dalmatian Street’ TV Series Released
Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for Disney’s 101 Dalmatian Street TV series. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Nathan Klein, Rupert Cross and Theo Vidgen. Also included are the opening theme I’ve Got My Pups with Me performed by Kathryn D. Rende, the end titles song It’s a Dog’s Life performed by Celica Gray, as well as other songs from the series. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. 101 Dalmatian Street is developed by Anttu Harlin & Joonas Utti based on Disney’s 101 Dalmatians franchise and features the voice talent of Josh Brener, Michaela Dietz, Rhashan Stone and Ella Kenion.

eOne Music will release the first soundtrack album for the ABC comedy drama The Rookie. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Jordan Gagne (Waco, Altered Carbon, Treadstone). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. The Rookie is created by Alexi Hawley and stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Melissa O’Neil, Mekia Cox and Eric Winter. The series follows a middle-aged small-town guy who – after a life-altering incident – is pursuing his dream of joining the LAPD and is being met with skepticism from those who see him as just a walking midlife crisis.
Jesse Novak Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’
Jesse Novak (BoJack Horseman, The Mindy Project, Tuca & Bertie) is scoring the upcoming Netflix original series The Baby-Sitters Club. The show is based on the best-selling book series by Ann M. Martin and stars Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph, Xochitl Gomez, as well as Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feuerstein. The family dramedy follows a group of girlfriends and their homegrown babysitting business in Stoneybrook, Connecticut. Rachel Shukert serves as the showrunner is executive producing the poject with Martin, Michael De Luca (The Social Network, Captain Phillips), Walden Media’s Lucy Kitada & Naia Cucukov, Lucia Aniello (Broad City, Rough Night) who is also directing the series.
