Premiering on Thursday, April 29, is the Netflix original film Things Heard & Seen written and directed by Robert Pulcini & Shari Springer Berman and starring Amanda Seyfried, James Norton, Natalia Dyer, Alex Neustaedter, Rhea Seehorn and F. Murray Abraham. The movie’s original music is composed by Peter Raeburn (Woodshock, The Dry, Nancy, Tell Me Your Secrets, Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism, Photograph). Check out our previous news article to learn more about the horror thriller, which will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Also premiering on Thursday is the Netflix anime series Yasuke created by LeSean Thomas and starring LaKeith Stanfield, Takehiro Hira, Maya Tanida, Ian Chen, Ming-Na Wen, Gwendoline Yeo, Noshir Dalal, Darren Criss, Paul Nakauchi and Dia Frampton. Flying Lotus has composed the show’s original music. Warp Records has released a digital single featuring the artist’s opening theme and closing credits music earlier this week. Soundtrack Album for Sky Series ‘Anna’ Released

Octopus Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian Sky original series Anna. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Rauelsson. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Anna is created and directed by Niccolò Ammaniti based on his novel of the same title and stars Giulia Dragotto and Alessandro Pecorel. The show produced by Fremantle’s Wildside, ARTE France & Kwaï is co-written by Ammaniti & Francesca Manieri and tells the story of a 13-year-old girl who must contend with a viral contagion that kills off all adults on the island of Sicily.

Sherri Chung’s ‘Kung Fu’ Main Title Theme Released

WaterTower Music has released the main title theme from the CW drama Kung Fu. The track is written by the show’s composer Sherri Chung (Riverdale, Batwoman, The Lost Husband, Blindspot, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music outlets, including Amazon. Also listen to the theme after the jump. Kung Fu is developed by Christina M. Kim based on the original 70s series created by Ed Spielman and stars Olivia Liang, Kheng Hua Tan, Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang, Eddie Liu, Vanessa Kai, Gavin Stenhouse, Tony Chung and Tzi Ma.

WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the Epix docuseries Helter Skelter: An American Myth. The album features the show’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, WandaVision, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover) & Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, PEN15, Son of Zorn). Soundtrack Album for Syfy’s ‘Van Helsing’ to Be Released

MovieScore Media will release the first soundtrack album for the Syfy original series Van Helsing. The album feature selections of the original score from all five seasons of the show composed by Rich Walters (Olympus, Scorched Earth, The Show, Dead Rising: Endgame, Ring of Fire). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 14, 2021 and is now available for pre-order here. Van Helsing is created by Neil LaBute and stars Kelly Overton, Jonathan Scarfe, Christopher Heyerdahl, Vincent Gale and Rukiya Bernard. The series revolves around the daughter of Abraham Van Helsing who is resurrected in a post-apocalyptic world to lead a resistance against the vampires that plague it.

‘Shadow and Bone’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Shadow and Bone have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Project Power, The Raid: Redemption) and performed by the Budapest Art Orchestra. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 23 by Maisie Music Publishing and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Two tracks (Ravka & Her Name Is Alina Starkov) are already available to stream/download now. Shadow and Bone is developed by Eric Heisserer based on Leigh Bardugo’s novels and stars Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Kit Young,  Amita Suman, Danielle Galligan, Sujaya Dasgupta, Calahan Skogman, Simon Sears, Zoë Wanamaker, Daisy Head, Luke Pasqualino and Julian Kostov.

Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Spanish Princess The Halcyon, Home Fires) is the composer of the new Sky Atlantic original series Domina. The show is created by Simon Burke (The Exception) and stars Kasia Smutniak, Liam Cunningham, Colette Tchantcho, Nadia Parkes, Claire Forlani, Christine Bottomley, Matthew McNulty, Ben Batt and Isabella Rossellini. The 8-part historical drama follows the life and rise of Livia Drusilla from a naïve young girl whose world crumbles in the wake of Julius Caesar’s assassination, to Rome’s most powerful and influential Empress.

Goldfrapp’s Will Gregory to Score Amazon’s & BBC’s ‘Chloe’

Amazon Studios announced today that Will Gregory of Goldfrapp (featuring Adrian Utley of Portishead and Alison Goldfrapp) is set to score the upcoming BBC limited series Chloe. The show is created, written and directed by by Alice Seabright (Sex Education) and stars Erin Doherty, Billy Howle, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Jack Farthing, Poppy Gilbert, Akshay Khanna, Brandon Micheal Hall and Alexander Eliot. The 6-part psychological thriller follows a woman who compares herself to the picture-perfect lives on Instagram. When the owner of an account she obsessively follows dies suddenly,  she needs to find out why and assumes a new identity.

Opening Theme and End Credits Music from Netflix’s ‘Yasuke’ Released

Warp Records has released the opening theme and closing credits music from the new Netflix anime series Yasuke. Black Gold (feat. Thundercat) and Between Memories (feat. Niki Randa) are written by the show’s composer Flying Lotus and are now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music outlets. Yasuke is created by LeSean Thomas and stars LaKeith Stanfield as the voice of the title character, alongside Takehiro Hira, Maya Tanida, Ian Chen, Gwendoline Yeo, Ming-Na Wen, Noshir Dalal, Paul Nakauchi, Darren Criss and Dia Frampton. The series tells the story of a samurai warrior of African descent in a fantastical alternate universe version of feudal Japan full of magic, mechs, and of course, swordplay.

‘Paradise PD’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Released

Maisie Music Publishing has released a new soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series Paradise PD. The album features the original songs from third part of the show written by Nicolas Barry, Tomas Jacobi, Alejandro Saldarriaga and Rene Garza. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the songs from the first two seasons last year. Paradise PD is created by Waco O’Guin & Roger Black and features the voices of Dana Snyder, Cedric Yarbrough, David Herman, Sarah Chalke, Tom Kenny and Kyle Kinane.
