WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the HBO Max/Cartoon Network animated miniseries Aquaman: King of Atlantis. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Matthew Janszen (Fatal Affair, The Sandman, Archibald’s Next Best Thing). Also included is the original song Talking to the Fish written by Drew Applegate & Janszen and performed by Cooper Andrews (who lends his voice to the title character), which has previously been released as a digital single earlier this month. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 29 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Aquaman: King of Atlantis is created by Victor Courtright & Marly Halpern-Glaser and also stars Gillian Jacobs, Thomas Lennon and Dana Snyder.

Soundtrack Album for Apple TV+’s ‘Invasion’ to Be Released
The details of the full soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Invasion have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Waltz with Bashir, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Taboo, Miss Sloane, My Brilliant Friend). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 29 by Decca Records. Invasion is created by Simon Kinberg & David Weil and stars Shamier Anderson, Golshifteh Farahani, Sam Neill, Shioli Kutsuna and Firas Nassar. The sci-fi drama follows an alien invasion through different perspectives on different continents around the world.
Andrew Lockington Scoring Paramount+’s ‘Mayor of Kingstown’
Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Rampage, Frontier, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) is scoring the new Paramount+ original series Mayor of Kingstown. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Wind River, Those Who Wish Me Dead) & Hugh Dillon and stars Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, Kyle Chandler, Dillon himself, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird and Tobi Bamtefa. The crime drama follows the McLusky family – power brokers in Kingstown, Mich., where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry.
Annaleigh Ashford’s ‘B Positive’ Season 2 Main Titles Theme Song Released
WaterTower Music has released a new version of the theme song from the CBS comedy B Positive. The track produced by Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Keb’ Mo’ & series producer Chuck Lorre (who co-wrote the theme for the first season) is performed by lead actress Annaleigh Ashford and will be introduced in tomorrow’s season 2 premiere episode. The song is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon). Also watch the opening titles sequence and listen to the full track after the jump. The label has previously released the Keb’ Mo’-performed version from Season 1 earlier this year. B Positive is created by Marco Pennette and also stars Thomas Middleditch, Kether Donohue, Sara Rue, Izzy G and Terrence Terrell.
Apple TV+’s ‘Swagger’ to Feature Original Score by Terence Blanchard
Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, Harriet, One Night in Miami…) is the composer of the new Apple TV+ original series Swagger. The show is created by Reggie Rock Bythewood (Beyond the Lights, Biker Boyz) and stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Isaiah Hill, Shinelle Azoroh, Quvenzhané Wallis, Caleel Harris, James Bingham, Ozie Nzeribe, Solomon Irama, Tessa Ferrer, Tristan Mack Wilds and Jason Rivera. The drama is inspired by NBA superstar Kevin Durant’s experiences and explores the world of youth basketball, and the players, their families and coaches who walk the fine line between dreams and ambition, and opportunism and corruption.
Evgueni & Sacha Galperine to Score Sophie Barthes’ ‘The Pod Generation’
Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (The Undoing, Radioactive, Scenes from a Marriage, Loveless, The Family, Wizard of Lies) are set to score the upcoming sci-fi romantic comedy The Pod Generation. The film will be directed by Sophie Barthes (Cold Souls) and star Emilia Clarke and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie is set in a near future where AI is all the rage and revolves around a New York couple who are ready to take their relationship to the next level and start a family and use a new tool, which offers couples the opportunity to share pregnancy on a more equal footing via detachable artificial wombs, or pods.

Premiering tomorrow, October 25, is the new CW drama 4400 developed by Ariana Jackson based on USA’s TV series The 4400 and starring Brittany Adebumola, Joseph David-Jones, TL Thompson, Ireon Roach, Jaye Ladymore, Khailah Johnson, Derrick A. King, Cory Jeacoma, AMARR and Autumn Best. The show’s original music is composed by Jongnic Bontemps (United Skates, My Name Is Pauli Murray, The Land, We Are: The Brooklyn Saints, College Behind Bars, The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel). Premiering on Thursday, October 28, is the Paramount+ animated series Star Trek: Prodigy developed by Kevin & Dan Hageman and starring Rylee Alazraqui, Brett Gray, Angus Imrie, Jason Mantzoukas, Ella Purnell and Dee Bradley Baker. Nami Melumad (An American Pickle, Absentia, Miss Arizona) is composing the show’s original score and Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Inside Out, Ratatouille, Spider-Man: Homecoming) has contributed the main title theme. SATV has released a new soundtrack album for the Sky original drama Britannia. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by Neil Davidge (Unleashed, Push, Halo 4, Earth Moods, Monsters: Dark Continent, Hard Sun, Good People). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The label has previously released the composer’s music from the second season while 7Hz Productions has released his score from the first season. Soundtrack Album for Adult Swim’s ‘Blade Runner: Black Lotus’ to Be Released
Def Jam/Alcon Sleeping Giant (ASG) Records will release a soundtrack album for the Adult Swim & Crunchyroll original animated series Blade Runner: Black Lotus. The album features Alessia Cara’s opening titles song Feel You Now (check out the title sequence below), as well as fourteen other songs from the show by artists such as Daya, Tori Kelly, Walk Off the Earth, G-Eazy, Kiana Ledé, Iann Dior, 070 Shake, salem ilese & others. The soundtrack will be released on November 5 and is now available for pre-order here. Two first tracks (Water by X Ambassadors & By My Side by A7S) will be coming out tomorrow.
