Raffertie (aka Benjamin Stefanski) (Alex Rider, White Dragon, Bull, One Way, Zone 414) has been tapped to score the upcoming Peacock event series The Continental. The show is developed by Greg Coolidge (Ride Along, The Troop), Kirk Ward & Shawn Simmons (Wayne) based on characters from the John Wick feature films and stars Colin Woodell, Mel Gibson, Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, Nhung Kate, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Jeremy Bobb, Ayomide Adegun and Peter Greene. The 3-parter explores the origin story and inner workings of the exclusive Continental Hotel, a centerpiece of the John Wick Universe, through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he had left behind.

‘Alice in Borderland’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Netflix Music has released a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s Japanese original series Alice in Borderland. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Yutaka Yamada (Kingdom, Inuyashiki, Bleach). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. A first soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 was released back in 2020. Alice in Borderland is based on the graphic novel of the same title by Haro Aso and stars Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Keita Machida, Yuki Morinaga and Ayaka Miyoshi. The sci-fi thriller co-written and directed by Shinsuke Sato centers on an aimless gamer and his two friends who find themselves in a parallel Tokyo, where they’re forced to compete in a series of sadistic games to survive.
‘Professor T’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Milan Records has released a new soundtrack album for the ITV drama Professor T. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second composed by Hannes De Maeyer (Gangsta, Torpedo, Noise, The Racer, Rafaël, Black). Silva Screen Records has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Professor T is developed by Matt Baker & Malin-Sarah Gozin based on the Belgian series of the same name and stars Ben Miller, Emma Naomi, Sarah Woodward, Barney White, Andy Gathergood, Juliet Aubrey and Frances de la Tour.
The Newton Brothers Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’
The Newton Brothers are currently scoring the upcoming Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher. The show is created by Mike Flanagan and stars Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Bruce Greenwood, Mark Hamill and Carla Gugino. The 8-part horror drama is based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe’s short story of the same title and other works by the author and is being described as “an epic tale of greed, horror and tragedy.” Flanagan is also executive producing the Intrepid Pictures production with Trevor Macy (The Raven, The Bye Bye Man), as well as Emmy Grinwis and Michael Fimognari (To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You & Always and Forever).
World Premiere Soundtrack Release for Nickelodeon’s ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’ Announced
Republic Records has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series Rocko’s Modern Life. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first two seasons composed by Pat Irwin (Dexter: New Blood, Nurse Jackie, The Good Cop, Feed the Beast, Bored to Death, But I’m a Cheerleader). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. A vinyl edition is also in the works. Rocko’s Modern Life is created by Joe Murray and features the voices of Carlos Alazraqui, Tom Kenny, Mr. Lawrence and Charlie Adler.
Leona Lewis’ Theme Song ‘One Step Closer’ from Apple TV+’s ‘Jane’ Released
Platoon has released the theme song from the new Apple TV+ original series Jane. The track, entitled One Step Closer, is written by Honorary Academy Award winner Diane Warren and performed by Leona Lewis, and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Johnson inspired by the work of ethologist and conservationist, Dr. Jane Goodall and stars Ava Louise Murchison, Mason Blomberg, Tamara Almeida and Dan Abramovici.
‘Wild Isles’ Episode ‘Ocean’ Soundtrack Album Released
Shogun Music has released the fifth soundtrack album for the BBC natural history series Wild Isles. The album features the original music from the show’s fifth and final episode, entitled Ocean, composed by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (The Blue Planet, Groundhog Day, Dangerous Liaisons, Anna and the King, Gandhi, Hitch, You’ve Got Mail). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the composer’s score from the first four episodes (Our Precious Isles, Woodland, Grassland & Freshwater) over the last couple of weeks. Wild Isles presented by Sir David Attenborough and executive produced by Alastair Fothergrill just finished its series run in the UK last night on BBC One.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, April 11, is the British comedy drama Am I Being Unreasonable? created by Daisy May Cooper & Selin Hizli and starring Cooper & Hizli themselves, Lenny Rush, Jessica Hynes, Amanda Wilkin, Dustin Demri-Burns, David Fynn, Juliet Cowan, Ruben Catt and Karla Crome. The show’s original music is composed by Morgan Kibby (Mothering Sunday, The Watcher, The Power, Girls of the Sun, Grand Army, Tales of the Walking Dead). The series, which centers on an obsessive friendship and maternal paranoia, premiered in the UK last year on BBC One and is making its U.S. debut on Hulu.
Premiering on Wednesday, April 12, is the second season of the Freeform original series Single Drunk Female created by Simone Finch and starring Sofia Black-D’Elia, Ally Sheedy, Sasha Compere, Lily Mae Harrington, Ian Gomez and Garrick Bernard. Tony Kanal (Purple Hearts) (of the bands No Doubt and Dreamcar) is the new composer of the show. Tony Kanal Tapped as Composer of Freeform’s ‘Single Drunk Female’ Season 2
Tony Kanal (of the rock bands No Doubt and Dreamcar) is making his television scoring debut on the Freeform original series Single Drunk Female. He is composing the music for the second season of the show created by Simone Finch and starring Sofia Black-D’Elia, Ally Sheedy, Lily Mae Harrington, Sasha Compere, Garrick Bernard and Ian Gomez. The new season of the comedy follows Samantha Fink as she finally feels like she has a life worth celebrating, but quickly learns that sometimes life has other plans for her.
Kevin Kiner to Score Disney+’s ‘Ahsoka’
Writer/director/producer Dave Filoni has revealed at a panel today at the Star Wars Celebration 2023 in London that Kevin Kiner (Doom Patrol, Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer) is scoring Lucasfilm’s upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. The show is written by Filoni stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, alongside Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla. The drama is set after the fall of the Empire and follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
