Tim Morrish (One Day, Fifteen-Love, Red Rose) is the composer of the new BBC crime drama The Jetty. The show is created and written by Cat Jones and stars Jenna Coleman, Tom Glynn-Carney, Ruby Stokes, Archie Renaux, Bo Bragason, Laura Marcus and Weruche Opia. The 4-part series follows a Detective who must figure out how a fire that tears through a property in a scenic Lancashire lake town connects to a podcast journalist investigating a missing persons cold case and an illicit relationship between a man in his twenties and two underage girls.

World Premiere Release of David Shire’s ‘Small Vices: A Spenser Mystery’ Score Announced
Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1999 A&E television movie Small Vices: A Spenser Mystery directed by Robert Markowitz, written by Robert B. Parker and starring Joe Mantegna as Boston detective Spenser. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by David Shire (The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, All the President’s Men, Zodiac, Short Circuit, Return to Oz ). Also included are the composer’s scores from the 1996 CBS film Jake’s Women directed by Glenn Jordan, written by Neil Simon 1992 and starring Alan Alda, Mira Sorvino, Anne Archer & Lolita Davidovich, the ABC movie Broadway Bound directed by Paul Bogart and starring Corey Parker, Jonathan Silverman & Anne Bancroft and the 1994 TV movie Texan.

Premiering today is the MGM+ original series Emperor of Ocean Park developed by Sherman Payne based on the novel by Stephen L. Carter and starring Forest Whitaker, Keith Powers, Keith Kupferer, Kelli Simpkins and Deanna Reed-Foster. The show’s original music is composed by Amanda Jones (Moving On, Naomi, Mea Culpa, The Perfect Find, Super/Natural, Young Love, Good Trouble). The drama, which is set in Martha’s Vineyard and follows an esteemed law professor whose quiet life is shattered when his father dies of an apparent heart attack, but his sister, a former journalist and conspiracy theorist, believes that the judge met with foul play, will be available to stream exclusively on MGM+.
Premiering on Thursday, July 18, is the action comedy sequel My Spy: The Eternal City directed by Pete Segal and starring Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Flula Borg, Kristen Schaal, Billy Barratt, Taeho K, Craig Robinson, Anna Faris and Ken Jeong. Sean Segal has composed the film’s original music in his feature scoring debut. Michael Gatt Scoring Max’s ‘Kite Man: Hell Yeah!’
Michael Gatt (Braid, DC Super Hero Girls, Batman: The Long Halloween, Justice League: Warworld, Blood Drive, The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson) has recently scored the new Max original animated series Kite Man: Hell Yeah!. The composer is sharing scoring credit with Jefferson Friedman (Harley Quinn, New Amsterdam, Powerless) on the first episode and has composed the music for the other nine episodes of the first season of the show developed by Dean Lorey (Til Death, My Wife and Kids), Justin Halpern & Patrick Schumacker (Abbott Elementary, Surviving Jack) based on the DC Characters and starring Matt Oberg, Stephanie Hsu, James Adomian, Janelle James, Jonathan Banks, Natasia Demetriou, Michael Imperioli, Keith David, Rory Scovel, Lance Reddick and Judith Light.
Brian Tyler’s Esports World Cup Anthem Released
Sony Music Entertainment Middle East has released the official anthem for the 2024 Esports World Cup, the first edition of a multi-genre esports competition, replacing the Gamers8 festival, run by the Esports World Cup Foundation The track, entitled Dare to Triumph, is composed by Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians, Yellowstone, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. ‘Power Rangers Dino Fury’ Soundtrack Album Released
Hasbro has released a soundtrack album for the superhero TV series Power Rangers Dino Fury. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Bert Selen (Raven’s Home, Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, Rules of Engagement, Mystery Girls, Fast Layne). Also included is an extended version of the Dino Fury theme song co-written and performed by the composer (listen to the track after the jump). Power Rangers Dino Fury is created by Haim Saban and stars Russell Curry, Hunter Deno, Kai Moya, Chance Perez, Tessa Rao, Shavaughn Ruakere, Jordon Fite and Blair Strang. The Toei Company production follows a new crew of Power Rangers who must deal with a menacing army of alien creatures attacking Earth.
