The movie is directed by Mike Rohl and stars Vanessa Hudgens, Sam Palladio, Suanne Braun and Nick Sagar. The sequel to 2018’s original The Princess Switch film (scored by Terry Frewer) follows Duchess Margaret as she unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and her double Stacy who has to save the day before a new lookalike foils their plans.

Nathan Larson to Score Carter Bays’ & Craig Thomas’ ‘Molly and the Moon’
Nathan Larson (Boys Don’t Cry, Dirty Pretty Things, Margin Call, Juliet, Naked) is set to compose the score for the upcoming original movie musical Molly and the Moon. The film is directed by Carter Bays & Craig Thomas (How I Met Your Mother) and is set to star Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff. Harvey Mason Jr (Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Story, All Rise) will serve as executive music producer and Stephanie Diaz-Matos (The Get Down, Uncle Drew) is the project’s music supervisor. Bays and Thomas are also producing the film with Levantine Films’ Jared Ian Goldman (Wilson, Ingrid Goes West) and Renee Witt.

Christopher Lennertz & Dara Taylor have teamed up to score the upcoming comedy Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar. The film is directed by Josh Greenbaum (Becoming Bond) and stars Kristen Wiig, Annie Mumolo, Jamie Dornan and Damon Wayans. The movie follows two lifelong friends as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime when they decide to leave their small Midwestern town for the first time. Wiig & Mumolo also wrote the screenplay and are producing the project with Will Ferrell & Adam McKay (The Big Short, Talladega Nights), Jessica Elbaum (Hustlers, Booksmart) and Margot Hand (Brittany Runs a Marathon).

Jake Monaco (Dumplin’, Let’s Be Cops, Like a Boss, Out, Forky Asks a Question, Keeping Up with the Joneses) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Flora & Ulysses. The film is directed by Lena Khan (The Tiger Hunter) and stars Matilda Lawler, Alyson Hannigan, Ben Schwartz, Evans Ainsworth and Danny Pudi. The family drama is based on the children’s book Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures by Kate DiCamillo and tells the story of a 10-year-old avid comic book fan and a self-avowed cynic, who saves a squirrel she names Ulysses only to have its unique superhero powers wreak havoc.

Michael Brook (Brooklyn, Into the Wild, The Fighter, The Vow, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) has composed the original score for the upcoming drama Embattled. The film is directed by Nick Sarkisov and stars Stephen Dorff, Darren Mann, Colin McKenna, Karrueche Tran, Saïd Taghmaou, Elizabeth Reaser and Donald Faison. The movie revolves around a man who channels his aggression into a World Champion MMA fighter, but when his second son is born with Williams Syndrome, an incurable developmental disorder, he runs away from his family. David McKenna (Blow, American History X, Get Carter) wrote the screenplay.
Patrick Neil Doyle Scoring Charles Martin Smith’s ‘A (Christmas) Gift from Bob’
Patrick Neil Doyle has recently scored the new family drama A Gift from Bob. The film is directed by Charles Martin Smith (Dolphin Tale, A Dog’s Way Home) and stars Luke Treadaway, Bob the Cat, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Phaldut Sharma, Nina Wadia, Tim Plester, Pepter Lunkuse, Celyn Jones and Anna Wilson-Jones. The movie is the sequel to 2016’s A Street Cat Named Bob (scored by David Hirschfelder) and follows James Bowen as he looks back at the last Christmas he and Bob spent scraping a living on the streets and how Bob helped him through one of his toughest times. Garry Jenkins wrote the screenplay based on Bowen’s books.

Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life, The Crown) has signed on to score the upcoming pandemic thriller Songbird. The film is directed by Adam Mason (Into the Dark, The Devil’s Chair) and stars KJ Apa, Sofia Carson, Craig Robinson, Paul Walter Hauser, Demi Moore, Bradley Whitford, Alexandra Daddario, Jenna Ortega and Peter Stormare. The movie is set a few years in the future, where a pandemic rages on, continuing to mutate and wreak havoc around the world and follows a delivery driver who must overcome martial law, murderous vigilantes and a powerful, well connected family to reunite with his partner. Mason also co-wrote the screenplay with Simon Boyes (Misconduct, Not Safe for Work).

The film is written and directed by Dugan (based on a story by himself, Larry Miller & Eileen Conn) stars Diane Keaton, Jeremy Irons, Maggie Grace, Diego Boneta and Andrew Bachelor. The movie revolves wedding workers who works create the perfect day for a loving couple – while their own relationships are far from perfect.

Erran Baron Cohen has composed the original score for the new comedy Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.The film is directed by Jason Woliner (Eaglehearts) and stars Sacha Baron Cohen who is reprising his role of the fictional Kazakh television journalist named title character from the 2006 hit movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Monica Levinson (Captain Fantastic, Trumbo) and Anthony Hines (Who Is America?) are producing the project.
