Premiering on Tuesday, January 15 is the new CW drama Roswell, New Mexico developed by Carina Adly MacKenzie based on Melinda Metz’s Roswell High book series and starring Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons, Tyler Blackburn, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis and Heather Hemmens. Also premiering on Wednesday is the YouTube Premium original series Wayne created by Shawn Simmons and starring Mark McKenna and Ciara Bravo. The show’s original music is composed by Steven Argila (Max Steel, There’s…Johnny!, Basmati Blues). The action comedy executive produced by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Greg Coolidge & Kirk Ward centers on a 15-year-old teenager who sets out on a dirt bike with his new crush to take back the 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was stolen from his father before he died. The show’s full first season will be available to stream on Wednesday on YouTube Premium.
Premiering on Thursday, January 17 in the U.S. is the fantasy drama A Discovery of Witches based on Deborah Harkness’ novel of the same title and starring Teresa Palmer, Matthew Goode, Alex Kingston, Valarie Pettiford, Lindsay Duncan and Tanya Moodie. Rob Lane (John Adams, Merlin, Atlantis, The Damned United, Beowulf) is composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Friday, January 18 is the Netflix original movie IO directed by Jonathan Helpert and starring Margaret Qualley, Anthony Mackie and Danny Huston. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) & Alex Belcher. The sci-fi thriller follows a young scientist who searches for a way to save a dying Earth and finds a connection with a man who’s racing to catch the last shuttle off the planet. The movie will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

The action thriller centers on a battle-hardened bodyguard who scrambles to save her client when attackers target the heiress she’s protecting.
