Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein (Stranger Things) have composed the music for the new ITV mini-series Butterfly. The show is created by Tony Marchant (Holding On, The Mark of Cain) and stars Anna Friel, Emmett J. Scanlan, Alison Steadman, Sean McGinley and Callum Booth-Ford. The 3-parter focuses on the complex relationship between two separated parents and their division in opinion over how to support their youngest child. Marchant is also executive producing the project with Nicola Shindler (Happy Valley, Last Tango in Halifax), Caroline Hollick and Adam Kemp (Our Zoo). Butterfly will premiere in the UK this Sunday on ITV. No word yet on a domestic air date.

As previously reported, Dixon & Stein also have the NatGeo original series Valley of the Boom coming up. They are also returning to score the third season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which is set to premiere in 2019.
