Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror movie X written and directed by Ti West and starsring Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, Brittany Snow, Martin Henderson, Stephen Ure, Owen Campbell and Scott Mescudi. The film’s original music is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, Watchmen, Hobbs & Shaw, John Wick, 300, Dawn of the Dead) and singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe. A24 Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score next Friday, March 25. Already available now is Wolfe’s cover of Oui Oui Marie. Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen) has composed the original score for the upcoming crime drama The Outfit. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Graham Moore (The Imitation Game) and stars Mark Rylance, Dylan O’Brien, Zoey Deutch and Johnny Flynn. The movie follows an English tailor who used to craft suits on London’s world-famous Savile Row who ends up on Chicago, operating a small tailor shop in a rough part of town where he makes beautiful clothes for the only people around who can afford them: a family of vicious gangsters.
