The Weeknd has recorded an original end titles song for James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water. The track, entitled Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength), features lyrics & melody by the singer/songwriter himself and is produced by the film’s composer Simon Franglen and Swedish House Mafia. The song is set to be released on December 15 by Hollywood Records and a full soundtrack album featuring Franglen’s score will be coming out on December 16.

‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ to Feature Original Song by Simon Franglen & Zoe Saldana
Simon Franglen has written an original song for James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water. The track, entitled The Songcord, is performed by Zoe Saldana and will be featured in the film starring Sam Worthington, Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet and Stephen Lang. The song and Franglen’s original score from the sequel is expected to be released next month by Hollywood Records. Franglen has previously co-written and -produced the original end credits song I See You (performed by Leona Lewis) from the 2009 Avatar original movie with James Horner and Kuk Harrell (lyrics).
‘Notre-Dame on Fire’ Soundtrack Album Released
Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Notre-Dame on Fire (Notre-Dame brûle. The album features the film’s original music composed by Simon Franglen (The Magnificent Seven, Pandora: The World of Avatar, The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair, Peppermint, The Curse of Turandot) The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. A CD version is also being released overseas and will be available to order here within the next few days. Notre-Dame on Fire is directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud and stars Samuel Labarthe, Mikael Chirinian, Jean-Paul Bordes,Jérémie Laheurte, Chloé Jouannet and Pierre Lottin. The movie chronicles events that took place on April 15, 2019, when the cathedral suffered the biggest blaze in its history and retraces how heroic men and women put their lives on the line to accomplish an awe-inspiring rescue.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Simon Franglen (The Magnificent Seven, Pandora: The World of Avatar, Peppermint). The movie is based on Giacomo Puccini’s opera Turandot and tells the story of a princess who is cursed by a mysterious power emanating from three Mazovian bracelets that were given to her as birthday gifts and an ordinary citizen who risks his life to save her.
Simon Franglen to Compose Music for James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ Sequels
Simon Franglen has been hired to write indigenous songs to be performed on screen by members of various Na’vi clans for James Cameron’s Avatar 2 & 3. The composer is also attached to score the first two sequels (which are being shot simultaneously) to the Academy Award-nominated 2009 film (scored by James Horner) will star Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Dileep Rao and Matt Gerald who are reprising their roles from the original film. They are joined by Sigourney Weaver (in a new role) and new cast members Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Brendan Cowell, David Thewlis, Vin Diesel and CJ Jones.

The album features the music written by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13) and Simon Franglen (The Magnificent Seven, Peppermint) for the attractions located in the themed area. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon and iTunes, where you can also check out audio samples. Pandora: The World of Avatar is based on James Cameron’s 2009 hit movie scored by Horner who received an Academy Award nomination for his work on the project.

Opening in most theaters is the supernatural horror thriller The Nun directed by Corin Hardy and starring Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet, Charlotte Hope, Ingrid Bisu and Bonnie Aarons. ‘Peppermint’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Peppermint. The album features the film’s original music composed by Simon Franglen (The Magnificent Seven, Ice). Also included is the original song Dark Angel by Geno Lenardo and the original end credits song Push Me by Lenardo feat. Ash Costello. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, September 7 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Peppermint is directed by Pierre Morel (Taken) and stars Jennifer Garner, John Ortiz, John Gallagher Jr. and Juan Pablo Raba. The movie tells the story of a young mother whose husband and daughter are killed in a brutal attack on the family. When the system frustratingly shields the murderers from justice, she sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerilla.
