Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Batman, Jurassic World, Star Trek, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) has composed the original music for the episode Duke: The Musical from the new Disney+ original animated shorts series Zootopia+. He also co-wrote the original song Big Time with lyrics by Elyssa Samsel & Kate Anderson (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Central Park) for the episode, which centers on small-time weasel crook Duke Weaselton (voiced by Alan Tudyk) as he rethinks his life and pictures himself as a good guy.

Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released four new tracks from the score of Marvel Studios’ special presentation Werewolf by Night. Available to stream now on all major digital music services are the tracks Big Shoes to Fill, Two Lefts Make a Right, All the World’s a Cage & World’s Worst Makeover composed by the projects’s director and composer Michael Giacchino (Lost, The Batman, Up, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Star Trek, The Incredibles, Doctor Strange). ‘Argentina, 1985’ Soundtrack Released
5020 Records has released a soundtrack album for the Argentine historical drama Argentina, 1985. The album features the film’s original music composed by Pedro Osuna and produced by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Star Trek, Spider-Man: Far from Home, The Batman). Also included is the song Nunca Más written and produced by Osuna and performed by Kany García. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released the official soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ special presentation Werewolf by Night. The album features the original music from the Halloween special composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Star Trek, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) who also directed the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Werewolf by Night is written by Heather Quinn & Peter Cameron and stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Laura Donnelly and Harriet Sansom Harris.

Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Interview with the Vampire created by Rolin Jones based on Anne Rice’s classic novel of the same name and starring Jacob Anderson, Sam Reid, Assad Zaman, Bailey Bass and Eric Bogosian. The show’s original music is composed by Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, The Green Knight, The Old Man and the Gun, A Ghost Story, Strange Angel). Michael Giacchino Scoring Marvel’s ‘Werewolf by Night’ Halloween Special
Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Batman, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) has confirmed that he is scoring Marvel Studios’ upcoming Halloween special Werewolf by Night. The composer is also directing the project, which stars Gael García Bernal in the title role of Jack Russell, as well as Laura Donnelly, Harriet Sansom Harris and Eugenie Bondurant. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Victoria Alonso are executive producing the special.
Michael Giacchino to Score Brad Bird’s ‘Ray Gunn’
Brad Bird has confirmed in recent interview with THR that Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jurassic World, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) will compose the original music for the director’s next animated feature, Ray Gunn. The movie is being described as a “detective film in an alternate future” and has been in development since 1990s. Bird (The Iron Giant) co-wrote the original screenplay with Matthew Robbins (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Mimic). Lasseter (Toy Story, Cars), David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and Dana Goldberg (The Old Guard, The Tomorrow War) are producing the project for Skydance Animation.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale and Russell Crowe. Michael Giacchino (Up, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange, Jurassic World, Lost) has composed the themes and has co-scored the movie with Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds & Prodigy, An American Pickle). Hollywood Records/Marvel Music have released a soundtrack featuring the composers’ score. Opening in select U.S. theaters is the French drama Both Sides of the Blade (Avec amour et acharnement) co-written and directed by Claire Denis and starring Juliette Binoche, Vincent Lindon, Grégoire Colin, Bulle Ogier, Issa Perica and Mati Diop. The film’s original music composed by Tindersticks (High Life, White Material, Bastards). No word on a soundtrack release. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 6 by Hollywood Records & Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
