Premiering tomorrow, July 28, is the Hulu original series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball created by Ben Bocquelet and starring Alkaio Thiele, Hero Hunter, Kinza Syed Khan, Teresa Gallagher and Dan Russell. Xav Clarke (Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, Elliott from Earth, The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe) is composing the show’s original music. The sequel to The Amazing World of Gumball produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe follows Gumball Watterson, his brother Darwin, his sister Anais, and the other quirky residents of Elmore on new adventures and will be available to stream in the U.S. exclusively on Hulu.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, July 29, is the British TV series Dope Girls developed by Polly Stenham & Alex Warren and starring Julianne Nicholson, Eilidh Fisher, Eliza Scanlen, Umi Myers, Geraldine James, Rory Fleck Bryne, Dustin Demri-Burns, Sebastian Croft, Michael Duke, Ian Bonar, Laura Checkley, Harry Cadby, Priya Kansara, Will Keen, Nabhaan Rizwan and Jordan Kouame. The show’s original music is composed by the experimental vocalist & electronic artist collective NYX. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artists’ score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Netflix Music has released two soundtrack EPs for the streamer’s original competition series Building the Band. The EPs features the songs from the show by the participating bands including Sweet Seduction, 3Quency, Siren Society, SZN4, Soulidified and Midnight Til Morning. The show is the third title in AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe, following Interview with the Vampire (scored by Daniel Hart) & Mayfair Witches (scored by Will Bates), and stars Nicholas Denton, Elizabeth McGovern, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Celine Buckens, Eric Bogosian and Jason Schwartzman. The drama revolves around a secretive society called the Talamasca, comprised of the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe. The film is directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21/22 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and stars Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Milana Vayntrub and Ken Leung. The movie based on the based on the bestselling novel by Andy Weir (The Martian) follows a science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there and – as his memory returns – begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original hybrid documentary/reality series Hitmakers. The album features the songs from the show written by songwriters including Jenna Andrews, Tommy Brown, Trey Campbell, NOVA WAV, Harv, Ferras, Ben Johnson, Whitney Phillips, Stephen Kirk, JHart and Sevyn Streeter. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to several tracks below. Hitmakers is produced by Done and Done Productions & Harvey Mason Media and follows twelve of the industry’s best songwriters and producers as they come together at real high-stakes writing camps to create hits for today’s biggest stars like John Legend, Lisa of Blackpink and Shaboozey. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps directed by Matt Shakman and starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Julia Garner, Ralph Ineson, Natasha Lyonne, Sarah Niles and Paul Walter Hauser. The film’s original music is composed byMichael Giacchino (UpLost, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Batman, Star Trek, Jurassic World,  Doctor StrangeThe IncrediblesRatatouille). Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Also opening wide is the horror thriller The Home co-written and directed by James DeMonaco and starring Pete Davidson, Mary Beth Peil, John Glover, Bruce Altman, Mugga, Adam Cantor, Denise Burse,Ethan Phillips, Stuart Rudin and Nathalie Schmidt. Quartet Records has announced the premiere CD release of the soundtrack album for the 1981 crime drama Prince of the City co-written and directed by Sidney Lumet and starring Treat Williams, Jerry Orbach, Lindsay Crouse, Richard Foronjy and Bob Balaban. The limited edition album features the film’s original music composed by Paul Chihara (Death Race 2000, China BeachThe Bad News Bears Go to China, Romance and Cigarettes). The soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the full album details. The show is created by Vince Gilligan and stars Rhea Seehorn, Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor and Samba Schutte. The sci-fi drama revolves around the most miserable person on Earth who must save the world from happiness. Back Lot Music has released the original song Taking Everything from DreamWorks Animation’s sequel The Bad Guys 2. The track cowritten (with the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton) and performed by Busta Rhymes is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also check out the official lyric music video after the jump. The label has previously released the song GOODLIFE performed by Rag’n’Bone Man feat. WizTheMc from the movie last week and is expected to release a full soundtrack album featuring Pemberton’s original score next week. Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1967 comedy Arabella directed by Mauro Bolognini and starring Virna Lisi, James Fox, Margaret Rutherford and Terry-Thomas. The album, which is being released as part of the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Mission, The Untouchables, The Hateful Eight, Cinema Paradiso, The Thing). The CD, which is limited to 1,500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release.
