Premiering on Tuesday, August 31 is the Hulu original series Only Murders in the Building created by Steve Martin & John Hoffman and starring Martin, Selena Gomez, Martin Short Aaron Dominguez and Amy Ryan. The show’s original music is composed by Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Looking for AlasksaQueenpins, Runaways, The Royals). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Premiering on Wednesday, September 1 is Pixar Animation Studios’ Disney+ shorts series Dug Days written and directed by Bob Peterson and produced by Kim Collins. Andrea Datzman (Alcatraz, Undercovers) & Curtis Green have composed the original score for all five shorts. Viacom International has released a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original movie The J Team. The album features the songs from the film by performed by lead actress JoJo Siwa and co-written by herself, Jeannie Lurie, Matthew Tishler & Andrew Underberg. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Listen to several full tracks after the jump. The J Team is directed by Michael Lembeck and stars Siwa, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Laura Soltis, Julia Marley, Kerrynton Jones and Kiara T. Romero. The only movie opening nationwide this week is the supernatural horror thriller Candyman co-written and directed by Nia DaCosta and starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Colman Domingo, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Vanessa Williams and Tony Todd. The film’s original music is composed by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe. Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score in various formats today. Opening semi-wide in around 250 theaters is the British comedy drama Together directed by Stephen Daldry and starring James McAvoy and Sharon Horgan. Paul Englishby (An Education, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, Sunshine on Leith, Luther, The Musketeers) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie centers on two partners who are forced to re-evaluate themselves and their relationship through the reality of lockdown. Andrea Datzman & Curtis Green have composed the original score for the new Disney+ shorts series Dug Days. The show is written and directed by Bob Peterson (Up, Finding Nemo, Cars 3) and follows the misadventures of Dug, the lovable dog from the Disney/Pixar feature Up ,whose high-tech collar translates his thoughts into speech. Each short features everyday events that occur in and around Dug’s backyard, all through the eyes of the title character. Kim Collins is producing the Pixar Animation Studios production. Cinematic Soundscapes has released the original song After Our Dawn from After We Fell, the third part in the After series. The track is performed by Taylor Conrod and written by the film’s composer George Kallis (The Last Warrior, Highlander: The Source, Cliffs of Freedom), director Castille Landon, Ryan Steffes, Conrod herself, George Solonos and Nicolas Farmakalidis. The song, which is based the the main musical theme from Kallis’ score from the movie, is now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music. Also listen to the full track below. BMG will release a soundtrack album for Paul Schrader’s revenge thriller The Card Counter. The album features the original songs from the film by Robert Levon Been (of the rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 10 and is now available for pre-order here. Two first songs (Arise Sun and Mercy of Man (feat. S.G. Goodman)) are already available to stream/download now. Listen to both tracks after the jump. ‘Vivo’ Score Album Released

Atlantic Records has released a second soundtrack album for the animated feature Vivo. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alex Lacamoire (Fosse/Verdon). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and selections of Lacamoire’s score. Vivo is Vivo is directed by Kirk DeMicco and stars Miranda, Ynairaly Simo, Zoe Saldana, Gloria Estefan, Juan de Marcos, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Rooker and Nicole Byer. Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including  a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1997 disaster thriller Dante’s Peak directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Pierce Brosnan, Linda Hamilton and Charles Hallahan. The album features the expanded original score from the Universal Pictures production composed by John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Office Space, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, The Following, Legion). James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, The Sixth Sense, King Kong, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) contributed the theme. The album features the original songs from the first season of the show written by series composer Alex Geringas (Woody WoodpeckerImpractical Jokers, TrollsTopia, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!)  & series creator Ryan Crego (Arlo the Alligator Boy) and performed by voice cast members including Mary Lambert, Michael J.
