The album features the film’s original music composed by Jon Opstad (Black Mirror, The Woman in White, The Feed, We Hunt Together, Silent Witness, Safe House). The film marks the feature directorial debut of Christian Long & Justin Long and stars Melanie Lynskey, Justin Long himself, Judy Greer, Ryan Phillippe and Luis Guzmán. The movie follows a an aimless, jobless stoner/slacker who stumbles into a gig as a re-enactment tour guide in a historic, antebellum estate. The album is curated by the film’s director Todd Haynes (Carol, Far from Heaven) and music supervisor Randall Poster (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Irishman) and features well-known and rare tracks from the band, as well as songs and performances that influenced the group, including the rock n’ roll of Bo Diddley ,the doo-wop of The Diablos and the avant-garde compositions of La Monte Young. Caldera Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Greek biographical drama Man of God. The album features the film’s original music composed by Zbigniew Preisner (Three Colors, When a Man Loves a Woman, The Secret Garden, Forgotten We’ll Be). Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator, Whale Rider) co-wrote several tracks and is also featured as a vocalist on the score. The film is directed by Patrick Hughes (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, The Expendables 3) and stars Kevin Hart, Woody Harrelson, Kaley Cuoco, Ellen Barkin, Jasmine Mathews, Pierson Fode, Melanie Liburd, Lela Loren, Alejandro De Hoyos and Tomohisa Yamashita. The movie revolves around a case of mistaken identity after the world’s deadliest assassin and a stranger run into each other at an Airbnb rental.
