Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil WarWreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, X-Men: First Class) has recently been scoring the upcoming animated action adventure Strange World. The film is directed by Don Hall (Raya and the Last Dragon), co-directed by Qui Nguyen (who also wrote the screenplay), and features the voices of Jake Gyllenhaal, Jaboukie Young-White, Gabrielle Union, Lucy Liu and Dennis Quaid. The movie follows a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest – and by far – most crucial mission. Roy Conli (Tangled, Treasure Planet) is producing the Walt Disney Animation Studios production. Jackman has previously collaborated with Hall on 2011’s Winnie the Pooh and 2014’s Big Hero 6. Strange World is set to be released in theaters nationwide on November 23 by Walt Disney Pictures.

  1. Ryan Serowinski says:

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Henry Jackman scored animated feature

    • jjstarA113 says:

He scored Ron’s Gone Wrong just a year ago, and it was excellent!

    • Sam Whitacre says:

But that’s not fair. I wanted Harry Gregson-Williams to score Disney’s Strange World. Why isn’t he scoring Strange World.

  2. Anthony Nevarez says:

Don hasn’t worked with Henry Jackman in years until now. He must’ve missed for so long since Raya & The Last Dragon.

    • Sam Whitacre says:

Why wouldn’t Harry Gregson-Williams score Disney’s Strange World? Does he seem busy or something?

  3. Sam Whitacre says:

I would have loved Harry Gregson-Williams to score Disney’s Strange World.

  4. Zackary Cox says:

I would have loved Henry Jackman to score Illumination’s Untitled Mario film.
