Atlantic Records will release two soundtrack albums for the adult animated comedy series Helluva Boss. The first album featuring the songs from the show’s first season performed by the series’ voice cast will be released digitally on September 10 and physically in the following weeks. Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Disney Channel animated series Kiff. The album features the songs from the show’s second season written by series creators Nic Smal & Lucy Heavens and produced by series composer Brad Breeck. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuring the songs from Season 1 back in 2023. Atli Örvarsson Scoring Guan Hu’s ‘Dongji Rescue’

Atli Örvarsson (Silo, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Defending Jacob, Vantage Point, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Eagle, The Edge of Seventeen, Rams) has composed the original score for the new Chinese historical action drama Dongji Rescue. The film is directed by Guan Hu (Black Dog, The Eight Hundred) & Zhenxiang Fei and stars Zhu Yilong, Wu Lei and Ni Ni. The movie takes place in 1942, when a Japanese ship carrying British prisoners of war was torpedoed and tells the story of a group of Dongji fishermen who risked their lives to rescue over 300 British soldiers and protected and rescued three British individuals during a large-scale search by Japanese forces. Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1971 British World War I drama Zeppelin directed by Étienne Périer and starring Michael York, Elke Sommer and Anton Diffring. The album features selections of the film’s original music composed and conducted by Roy Budd (Get Carter, The Wild Geese, Soldier Blue, The Sea Wolves, Flight of the Doves, Kidnapped). Premiering tomorrow, July 28, is the Hulu original series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball created by Ben Bocquelet and starring Alkaio Thiele, Hero Hunter, Kinza Syed Khan, Teresa Gallagher and Dan Russell. Xav Clarke (Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, Elliott from Earth, The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe) is composing the show’s original music. The sequel to The Amazing World of Gumball produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe follows Gumball Watterson, his brother Darwin, his sister Anais, and the other quirky residents of Elmore on new adventures and will be available to stream in the U.S. exclusively on Hulu.
Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, July 29, is the British TV series Dope Girls developed by Polly Stenham & Alex Warren and starring Julianne Nicholson, Eilidh Fisher, Eliza Scanlen, Umi Myers, Geraldine James, Rory Fleck Bryne, Dustin Demri-Burns, Sebastian Croft, Michael Duke, Ian Bonar, Laura Checkley, Harry Cadby, Priya Kansara, Will Keen, Nabhaan Rizwan and Jordan Kouame. The show’s original music is composed by the experimental vocalist & electronic artist collective NYX. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artists’ score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One.
