The show is written and adapted by Kelly Jones inspired by the best-selling novel of the same title by Ann Cleeves (Vera, Shetland) and stars Ben Aldridge, Juliet Stevenson, Martin Shaw, Anita Dobson, Neil Morrissey, Dylan Edwards, Pearl Mackie, Sarah Gordy, Amit Shah and Alan Williams. Daniel Pemberton was named Film Composer of the Year at the 21st World Soundtrack Awards, tonight’s closing event of the 48th Ghent Film Festival, for his scores for Aaron Sorkins’ The Trial of the Chicago 7, Harry Bradbeer’s Enola Holmes and the documentary Rising Phoenix. He previously received his first World Soundtrack Award in the Discovery of the Year category back in 2014. Carlos Rafael Rivera was honored as TV Composer of the Year today for his score for the Netflix limited series The Queen’s Gambit (for which he recently received his second Emmy Award) and HBO’s Hacks.
