Maisie Music Publishing will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Locke & Key. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Torin Borrowdale (Searching, Run, Spring). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s music from the first season last year. Locke & Key is developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill & Aron Eli Coleite based on Joe Hill’s comic book series of the same title and stars Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Griffin Gluck, Laysla De Oliveira and Petrice Jones. The full details of the companion soundtrack for the book The Art and Soul of Dune have been revealed. The album features uniquely crafted versions of the main themes from Denis Villeneuve’s Dune curated by the film’s composer Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, The Lion King, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel) to accompany the reader on their journey through the book, which was written by the movie’s executive producer Tanya Lapointe. The details of the score album for Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho have been announced.
