Walt Disney Records has announced the album Harmonious: Globally Inspired Music from the EPCOT Nighttime Spectacular featuring a medley of classic Disney music (written by composers Alan Menken, Hans Zimmer, Randy Newman, the Sherman Brothers, Christophe Beck, Michael Giacchino, David Zippel, Elton John, Tim Rice, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephen Schwartz & others) and visuals reinterpreted by a culturally diverse group of 240 artists from all around the world. The album features global artists such as Grammy Award winner Luis Fonsi, Emmy-nominated violinist Lindsay Stirling, the South African Ndlovu Youth Choir, Grammy-winning gospel singer Karen Clark and gospel artist Danny Gokey. Throughout the soundtrack, composer Pinar Toprak’s new EPCOT anthem makes several appearances. The album was produced by Yaron Spiwak & Mark Hammond and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Geneva Club and Roc Nation Records have released the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original film The Harder They Fall. The album produced by co-writer/director/producer Jeymes Samuel (aka The Bullitts) includes the original songs from the movie, including Guns Go Bang (featured during the film’s opening sequence) written by Samuel, Scott Mescudi & Shawn Carter and performed by Kid Cudi & JAY-Z (who also executive produced the album and serves as a co-producer on the western). Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, The Serpent, Ripper Street, Primeval, Requiem) has been hired to score the upcoming BBC and HBO Max limited series The Tourist. The show is created by Harry & Jack Williams (Liar, Fleabag) and stars Jamie Dornan, Danielle Macdonald, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Alex Dimitriades and Damon Herriman. The 6-part mystery thriller follows a British man who finds himself in the glowing red heart of the Australian outback being pursued by a vast tank truck trying to drive him off the road. Viacom International will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. ‘Encanto’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Disney has announced the official soundtrack album for the studios’ animated feature Encanto. The album features eight original songs by written by Tony and Grammy Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana, In the Heights). Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Germaine Franco (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Tag, DopeLittle). The digital version of the soundtrack (which also includes instrumental versions of the songs) will be released on November 19 by Walt Disney Records. A CD version is set to come out on December 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Encanto is directed by Byron Howard & Jared Bush and stars Stephanie Beatriz, María Cecilia Botero, Wilmer Valderrama, Adassa, Diane Guerrero, Angie Cepeda, Mauro Castillo, Jessica Darrow, Rhenzy Feliz and Carolina Gaitan. The film tells the story of the Madrigals family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia and follows an ordinary 15-year-old who’s struggling to find her place in her family.
