Viacom International has released a soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon series The Astronauts. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Adam Lastiwka (Travelers, Family Law, You Me Her, Big Timber). The show is created by Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) inspired by the New York Magazine article How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People by Jessica Pressler and stars Anna Chlumsky, Julia Garner, Arian Moayed, Alexis Floyd, Anders Holm, Terry Kinney, Katie Lowes, Jeff Perry, Anna Deavere Smith and Laverne Cox. The film is directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind) and stars Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, Joel Edgerton, Weir Sukollawat, Thiraphat Sajakul, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Vithaya Pansringarm, Teeradon “James” Supapunpinyo, Nophand Boonyai, Tom Bateman, Paul Gleeson, and Lewis Fitz-Gerald. The movie tells the true story of the 2018 Tham Laung cave rescue of a boys’ soccer team who were trapped for days with no supplies and decreasing oxygen levels.
