Practice Room Productions has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original documentary Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man!. The album features the original music from the 2-part film composed by Jeff Morrow (Snow White, A Christmas Story Christmas, The Snoopy Show, Science Fair, George Carlin’s American Dream, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure) who recently received his first Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his score. Also included is a Morrow-produced arrangement of Brooks’ Springtime for Hitler (from The Producers) performed by Jordan Seigel. Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man! is directed by Judd Apatow & Michael Bonfiglio and explores the life, career, friendships, and loves of legendary writer, producer, director, and performer, Mel Brooks. The movie chronicles his early sketches, landmark films and Broadway hits and highlights how he turned postwar trauma, personal pain, and the absurdities of life into bold satire that subverted norms and reshaped American comedy. The documentary premiered this past January on HBO and HBO Max.
