Zend Avesta has released a soundtrack album for Dario Argento’s horror thriller Dark Glasses (Occhiali Neri). The album features the film’s original music composed by Arnaud Rebotini (BPM (Beats Per Minute), Curiosa, Eastern Boys, With the Wind). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A vinyl edition is available to order here. Dark Glasses is written and directed by Argento and stars Ilenia Pastorelli, Asia Argento, Mario Pirrello, Andrea Gherpelli and Maria Rosaria Russo. The movie follows a prostitute who loses her sight in a car crash as she tries to flee a serial killer and finds an ally in a young boy whose life has also been altered forever by the accident. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the horror comedy Studio 666 directed by BJ McDonnell and starring Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee, Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grossman and Jeff Garlin. The film’s original score is composed by Roy Mayorga (best known as the drummer of Ministry, Hellyeah and Stone Sour). John Carpenter has written the theme song and Foo Fighters have contributed the original songs for the fictional band Dream Widow. Also opening wide following an awards-qualifying release in December is the movie musical Cyrano directed by Joe Wright and starring Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Ben Mendelsohn. The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, The Kitchen) & Aaron Dessner (C’mon C’mon, Jockey) have composed the film’s original score and songs. Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ songs and score last year. ‘Atomic Train’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1999 NBC mini-series Atomic Train written by Jeff Fazio, directed by David Jackson & Dick Lowry and starring Rob Lowe, Kristin Davis, Easi Morales, John Finn, Mena Suvari, Don S. Davis and Edward Herrmann. The album features the original music from the 2-part disaster thriller composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Lee Holdridge (Splash, The Mists of Avalon, The Beastmaster, Mr. Mom, Old Gringo, Oliver’s Story). RCA Records has released the first song from the soundtrack for the horror comedy Studio 666. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) is March of the Insane written by Dave Grohl and James Rota and performed by the Foo Fighters as the movie’s fictional band Dream Widow. Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for Pixar Animation Studios’ Turning Red. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Tenet, Creed, Community, The Mandalorian). The full details of the new soundtrack albums for the CW drama Batwoman have been revealed. The albums feature selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, The Flash, You, The Flight Attendant, The Pacific, Greyhound) and Sherri Chung (Kung Fu, Riverdale, The Lost Husband, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 25 by WaterTower Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composers’ score from Season 1 last year.
