Walt Disney Records has released the opening theme song from the new Disney+ animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. The track written by series composer Kurt Farquhar (Black Lightning, The King of Queens) & Gerald ‘Gee Gee’ Harbour and performed by Joyce Wrice is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the French crime drama Maigret. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Bruno Coulais (The Chorus, Coraline, Wolfwalkers, The Crimson Rivers, The Secret of Kells, Winged Migration). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Maigret is co-written and directed by Patrice Leconte and stars Gerard Depardieu, Melanie Bernier and Jade Labeste. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original movie Three Months. The album features the film’s original score composed by Roger Neill (20th Century Women, King of the Hill, Beginners, Unpregnant, Mozart in the Jungle). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 25 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Available separately as a digital single is the original song Trouble by lead actor Troye Sivan (click here to stream/download and also listen to the track below). The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced today the nominees for the 2022 ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards. Chosen by the ASCAP composer and songwriter community, the winners will be announced as part of the 2022 ASCAP Screen Music Awards during the week of May 2. The ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards enable composers to recognize the artistic accomplishments of their peers and were introduced in 2014.
