Columbia Records has released the original song I’m Tired from the HBO original series Euphoria. The track, which was featured the second season’s fourth episode (You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can), is written (with show creator Sam Levinson) and performed by Labrinth & Zendaya and is now available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Kris Bowers (Green Book, King Richard, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Dear White People, Mrs. America, Inventing Anna, Respect) has been tapped to score the upcoming HBO Max limited series DMZ. The show is developed by Roberto Patino (Westworld) based on the comic series of the same title published by DC and stars Rosario Dawson, Benjamin Bratt, Hoon Lee, Freddy Miyares and Jordan Preston Carter. The drama is set in the near future when America is embroiled in a bitter civil war and chronicles the journey of a fearless and fierce medic who sets out to find the son she lost in the evacuation of New York City at the onset of the conflict. Milan Records has released a new soundtrack album for the French TV series UFOs (OVNI(s)). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Thylacine (Gaspard at the Wedding, Do It Right). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio clips. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score, as well as other music from Season 1 last year. Premiering today is the first installment of the Showtime anthology series Super Pumped, entitled The Battle for Uber, based on the book of the same title by Mike Isaac and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Chandler, Uma Thurman, Elisabeth Shue, Jon Bass, Kerry Bishé, Bridget Gao Hollitt and Babak Tafti. The show’s original music is composed by Brendan Angelides (aka ESKMO) (13 Reasons Why, Billions, Naked Singularity, The Master Cleanse). Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the horror comedy Studio 666 directed by BJ McDonnell and starring Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee, Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grossman and Jeff Garlin. The film’s original score is composed by Roy Mayorga (best known as the drummer of Ministry, Hellyeah and Stone Sour). John Carpenter has written the theme song and Foo Fighters have contributed the original songs for the fictional band Dream Widow. Also opening wide following an awards-qualifying release in December is the movie musical Cyrano directed by Joe Wright and starring Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Ben Mendelsohn. The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, The Kitchen) & Aaron Dessner (C’mon C’mon, Jockey) have composed the film’s original score and songs.
