Juan Cortés Arango (Anywhere with You, Back to Lyla, Mala fortuna) has announced a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Funny Birds (Au fil des saisons). The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released on all major digital music platforms on August 23. Cortés Arango’s key collaborators on the project include percussionist Andrew Maguire, pianists Tiffany Romanlouk and Ted Case, as well as fellow orchestrator Gustavo Gini. The composer’s score additionally features vocalist Elline, with original lyrics by Adam Brock. Funny Birds is directed by Hanna Ladoul & Marco La Via and stars Catherine Deneuve, Andrea Riseborough and Morgan Saylor. The movie executive produced by Martin Scorsese follows three generations of women from the same family who are all forced to learn to live together on a small rural chicken farm in New Jersey.
