Premiering tomorrow, May 23, is the Apple TV+ natural history series Prehistoric Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Jon Favreau and Mike Gunton. The show’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, Dune), Anze Rozman (The Planets, Universe) and Kara Talve. Zimmer also co-wrote the project’s theme with ndrew Christie (The Flood) for Bleeding Fingers Music. Premiering on Friday, May 27, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi directed by Deborah Chow and starring Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rupert Friend, Sung Kang and Benny Safdie. John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark) has written a new theme for the title character and Natalie Holt (Loki, Journey’s End, Knightfall, Herself, Beecham House) has composed the original score. ‘Exterior Night’ (‘Esterno Notte’) Soundtrack Released

Edizioni Curci has released a soundtrack album for the Italian mini-series Exterior Night (Esterno Notte). The album features the show’s original music composed by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Exterior Night is directed by Marco Bellocchio and stars Fabrizio Gifuni, Margherita Buy, Toni Servillo, Fausto Russo Alesi, Daniela Marra and Gabriel Montesi. Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, The King’s Man, Money Monster, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) has composed the original music for the upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Baymax!. The show is created by Don Hall (Raya and the Last Dragon, Winnie the Pooh) based on his 2014 feature Big Hero 6 (scored by Henry Jackman) and stars Scott Adsit as the voice of the title character, as well as Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Lilimar, Emily Kuroda, Zeno Robinson and Jaboukie Young-White. Red and Green Rangers has released a soundtrack album for the British crime series Hope Street. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Justine Barker (London Kills, Casuality, Suspects) & Anthony Eve. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. Hope Street is created by Paul Marquess & Susanne Farrell and stars Amara Khan, Brid Brennan, Des McAleer and Ciaran McMenamin. The drama is set in the fictional town of Port Devine on the Northern Irish coast and focuses on Port Devine’s police department and the mysterious arrival of the first Muslim police officer in the town’s history. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the British comedy drama Downton Abbey: A New Era directed by Simon Curtis and starring Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Penelope Wilton, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Joanne Froggatt, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock and Dominic West. The film’s original music is composed by John Lunn (Jamestown,The Last Kingdom, Grantchester, Shetland, Belgravia) who previously scored the all episodes of the Downton Abbey TV series and the first movie adaptation. Also opening wide this week is the horror drama Men written and directed by Alex Garland Garland and starring Jessie Buckley, Rory Kinnear and Paapa Essiedu. Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow (Ex Machina, Devs, Annihilation, Luce, Hanna, Archive 81, Free Fire) have composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore & Invada Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today. ‘All American’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Released

WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack album for the CW drama All American. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, The Flight Attendant, Supergirl, Greyhound, The Pacific, The Time Traveler’s Wife). Also included are the songs Family Over Everything by cast members Bre-Z & Chelsea Tavares and Music Can Save Us by Tavares, both of which have previously been released as digital singles. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released two soundtrack albums featuring the score and songs from Seasons 1 & 2 last year. All American is created by April Blair and also stars Daniel Ezra, Samantha Logan, Michael Evans Behling, Greta Onieogou, Monet Mazur, Cody Christian, Taye Diggs, Karimah Westbrook, Jalyn Hall and Hunter Clowdus. Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 thriller Presumed Innocent directed by Alan J. Pakula and starring Harrison Ford, Brian Dennehy, Bonnie Bedelia, Raul Julia, Paul Winfield, Greta Scacchi and John Spencer. The Deluxe Edition features the expanded and remastered complete original score from the movie composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Jaws, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial)), including previously unreleased music. Deadline is reporting that actor and singer/songwriter Johnny Flynn will compose original music for the Starz original series Lovesong. The drama is developed by Tanya Saracho (Vida) and follows two Mexican American childhood friends living in London who become entangled in a torturous love triangle with the same captivating singer-songwriter. Variety is reporting that U2’s Bono and lead guitarist The Edge are in discussions to write and perform an original song and score the drama North Star. The film directed by Jim Sheridan (My Left Foot, In the Name of the Father) is based on the filmmaker’s early life in Northern Ireland and tells the coming-of-age story of a 17-year-old who lives with his rough-around-the-edges father and younger brother and finds his world turned upside down when a teenage orphan moves in to live with them.
