Premiering on Wednesday, June 29, is the Disney+ animated shorts series Baymax! created by Don Hall and starring Scott Adsit, Maya Rudolph, Ryan Potter, Lilimar, Zeno Robinson, Emily Kuroda and Jaboukie Young-White. The show’s original music is composed by Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, The King’s Man, Peter Rabbit, Bullet Train, Money Monster, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween). Premiering on Friday, July 1, is the Amazon original series The Terminal List created by Jack Carr and starring Chris Pratt, Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo, Arlo Mertz, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Stephen Bishop and Alexis Louder. Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Victoria, Collateral, Harry Brown, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Sanditon) has composed the show’s original music. ‘El Refugio’ Soundtrack Album Released

Murci Bouscayrol (Suddenly, Hide, La sangre brota) has released a soundtrack album for the Starzplay limited series El Refugio. The album features selections of the composer’s original score from the show and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. El Refugio is written by Julio Rojas, Francisco Ortega & Enrique Videla and stars Alberto Guerra, Ana Claudia Talancón, Zuria Vega, Paloma Woolrich, Alfredo Castro, Diego Escalona, Camila Valero, Jorge Guerrero, Gabriela Cartol and Fernanda Urrejola. H.E.R.’s ‘Dance to the Music’ Cover from ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ Released

Decca Records has released the cover version of Sly and the Family Stone’s 1967 anthem Dance to the Music from the animated feature Minions: The Rise of Gru. The track produced by  Jack Antonoff (who serves as the executive producer of the film’s soundtrack) and performed by Academy Award winner H.E.R. is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the biographical drama Elvis directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, Olivia DeJonge, Richard Roxburgh, Luke Bracey, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and David Wenham. The film’s original score is composed by Elliott Wheeler (The Get Down, Every Day) who also serves as the project’s executive music producer. RCA Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie, including classic tracks by Elvis Presley, as well new tracks by Doja Cat, Swae Lee & Diplo, Eminem & CeeLo Green & others. Also opening wide is the supernatural horror thriller The Black Phone directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Mason Thames, Jeremy Davies, Madeleine McGraw, James Ransone and Ethan Hawke. Mark Korven (The Witch, Cube, The Lighthouse, The Terror: Infamy, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Them) has composed the film’s original music. ‘Trevor: The Musical’ Cast Recording Album Released

Ghostlight Records has released the official original cast recording album for the stage musical Trevor. The release, which coincides with the debut of filmed version of the off-Broadway stage production on Disney+ today, features the songs from Trevor: The Musical written by Julianne Wick Davis (music) and Dan Collins (lyrics) and performed by cast members including Holden William Hagelberger, Sammy Dell, Jarrod Zimmerman, Alyssa Emily Marvin, Sally Wilfert, Yasmeen Sulieman, Aryan Simhadri, Diego Lucano, Isabel Medina & others. The album, which is produced by Kurt Deutsch & Matt Deitchman and features orchestrations by Greg Pliska, is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Walt Disney Records has released the Whale Rap from the Disney+ original movie Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers. The track, which includes a remix of the Disney Afternoon Theme written by Tom Snow (music) & Dean Pitchford (lyrics), is composed by Nathaniel Motte (who also produced the song) director Akiva Schaffer & comedian Andy Samberg (who stars as Dale). Paramount Music has released the music from the first trailer for the upcoming action movie Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. The film’s composer Lorne Balfe (Black Widow, Top Gun Maverick, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, Bad Boys for Life, Ambulance) who previously scored Mission: Impossible – Fallout has recorded new music for the trailer at AIR Studios in London earlier this year.
