Record producer/musician Nigel Godrich is attached to compose the music for the upcoming thriller Dreamquil. The film marks the feature directorial debut of contemporary artist Alex Prager and will star Elizabeth Banks and John C. Reilly. The movie is set in the not so distant future when poor air quality has meant people mostly live their lives virtually from home and follows a dissatisfied career mother who leaps at the chance to get her life back on track by signing up for an avant-garde A.I.-led mental wellness retreat. Vincent Landay (Her, Where the Wild Things Are) is producing the project with Banks & Max Handelman (Pitch Perfect, Cocaine Bear) and Alison Small (Bottoms) for Brownstone Productions. Godrich who is best known for his work with Radiohead has previously scored Edgar Wright’s 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Dreamquil is currently scheduled to shoot in the third quarter of 2023. (Deadline)
