Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the Chinese action drama Flashover (Jing tian jiu yuan). The album features the film’s original music composed by Anthony Chue (Reign of Assassins, Bodies at Rest, Invisible Target, G Storm, Divergence). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Flashover is directed by Oxide Chun Pang and stars Du Jiang, Wang Qianyuan, Cecilia Han, Tong Liya, Yu Haoming and Elvis Han. The movie follows a group of firefighters who risk their lives to save survivors trapped in a massive chemical plant after an earthquake shakes the city and engulfs the area in flames. The drama opened in Chinese theaters last month and is being released in select U.S. theaters this weekend.
