Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Alien: Earth. The album features the original music from the fifth episode of the show (entitled In Space, No One…) composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery/Picard, Legion, Ripley, Untamed, For All Mankind, The Night Of, Zero Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 2 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. The label has previously released an album featuring selections of Russo’s score from the full season, as well as a digital single of the composer’s cover of Cream’s Strange Brew. Remastered ‘Black Sunday’ Soundtrack Album Announced

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1977 action thriller Black Sunday directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Robert Shaw, Bruce Dern, Marthe Keller, Bekim Fehmiu and Fritz Weaver. The album features the newly remastered original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List). The CD is limited to 3,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake, The Young Victoria, Still Alice, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, Kick-Ass) has recently scored the upcoming British Netflix original series House of Guinness. The show is created by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Eastern Promises) and stars Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Jack Gleeson, Fionn O’Shea, Niamh McCormack, Danielle Galligan, Ann Skelly, Michael McElhatton and Seamus O’Hara. The period drama is set in 19th-century Dublin and New York and explores a story inspired by the Guinness Family, beginning immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime thriller Caught Stealing directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith, Vincent D’Onofrio, Carol Kane, Benito A Martínez Ocasio and Griffin Dunne. The album features the film’s original score is composed by Rob Simonsen (Deadpool & Wolverine, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, It Ends with Us, The Way Back, Foxcatcher, The Age of Adaline, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer) and performed the post-punk band Idles who also contributed several original songs to the project. has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs today.
