B Original has released a soundtrack EP for the Mexican/Spanish/French coming-of-age dram Sad Girlz (Chicas Tristes). The 4-track EP features the film’s original music is composed by Wissam Hojeij (Headbang Lullaby, Mi Bestia, The Dog Thief, Good Morning). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to all four tracks after the jump. Sad Girlz is written and directed by Fernanda Tovar and stars Rocio Guzmán, Darana Álvarez, Tatsumi Milori, Tomás García-Agraz, Raúl Villegas, Mónica del Carmen, Lucio Lemus, Andrea Camacho, Luisa Almaguer, Áyax, Mario Flores, Óscar Lever, Héctor Kuri and Daniel Aranzubia. The movie follows two inseparable friends and the strongest swimmers on their team whose relationship gets tested when an incident at a party forces them to choose between silence and speaking out. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and just opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
