Sky Music has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original documentary series Groomed: The Truth Behind the Lie. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sam Thompson (Shark Whisperer, Unidentified, The Balloonists, JFK: One Day in America, 007: Road to a Million, Britain and the Blitz). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (The Sea) after the jump. Groomed: The Truth Behind the Lie is directed by Ceri Isfryn & Katie Hindley, produced by Sandpaper Films and reframes the Ellie Williams case that went viral, tore the town of Barrow apart and triggered national outrage. The 3-parter sheds new light on the case and uncovers accounts from other women in Barrow whose allegations of abuse by a group of predominantly Asian men were dismissed or ignored. The series premiered in the UK last week on Sky Documentaries and the streaming service NOW.
