La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the classic 60s television series 12 O’Clock High created by Sy Bartlett & Beirne Lay Jr. based on the 1949 feature of the same title and starring Robert Lansing, Frank Overton, Paul Burke, Chris Robinson & Barney Phillips as part of the label’s fourth volume of the Quinn Martin Collection. The soundtrack features selections of the original music from the show composed by Emmy Award winner Dominic Frontiere (The Outer Limits, Chisum, Hang ‘Em High, The Stunt Man, Modern Problems, The Aviator, The Invaders). The 2-CD set is limited to 2,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples.

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2000 fantasy comedy How the Grinch Stole Christmas directed by Ron Howard and starring Jim Carrey, Taylor Momsen, Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin and Molly Shannon. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Apollo 13, Avatar, A Beautiful Mind, Field of Dreams, Glory, Aliens), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music.
