Premiering on Wednesday, June 14, is the FX original series The Full Monty written by Simon Beaufoy & Alice Nutter based on the 1997 feature of the same name and starring Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy, Lesley Sharp, Paul Barber, Talitha Wing, Miles Jupp, Steve Huison, Paul Clayton, Wim Snape and Tom Wilkinson. The show’s original music is composed by Oli Julian (Sex Education, Breeders, Catastrophe, How to Build a Girl, Code 404, Episodes). Also premiering on Wednesday is the Netflix nature documentary series Our Planet II narrated by Sir David Attenborough. Jasha Klebe (Planet Earth II, Animal, The Black Godfather, Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom, Malika: The Lion Queen) & Thomas Farnon (One Man and His Shoes) have composed the show’s original music. A soundtrack album will be announced soon. The follow-up to 2019’s Our Planet (scored by Steven Price) centers on the migratory patterns of numerous animal species as they embark on often life-threatening journeys to feed, breed/find new homes and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix. ‘Safe Home’ Soundtrack Album Released

Helena Czajka (Blind Ambition, Unseen Skies, Revelation) has released a soundtrack album for the Australian TV series Safe Home. The album features selections of the composer’s original score from the show and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Safe Home is created by Anna Barnes and stars Aisha Dee, Mabel Li, Virginia Gay, Antonia Prebble, Thomas Cocquerel, Chenoa Deemal, Hal Cumpston, David Roberts, Mark Mitchinson, Janet Andrewartha, Tegan Stimson, Nicholas Burton, Katlyn Wong and Yuchen Wang. Atlantic Records has released the third song from the soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s fantasy comedy Barbie. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Angel co-written and -produced (with BloodPop & Count Baldor) and performed by PinkPantheress. Also check out the track after the jump. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi action adventure Transformers: Rise of the Beasts directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Peter Dinklage, Luna Lauren Velez, Peter Cullen, Tobe Nwigwe, Michelle Yeoh, Ron Perlman, Colman Domingo and Pete Davidson. The film’s original score is composed by Jongnic Bontemps (4400, United Skates, Wedding Season) and produced by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring Bontemps’ score today (click here for the full album details). Available separately as a digital single is the original song On My Soul by Nwigwe & Nas feat. Jacob Banks (click here to listen to the track).

Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the biographical drama Dalíland directed by Mary Harron and starring Ben Kingsley, Barbara Sukowa, Christopher Briney, Rupert Graves, Ezra Miller, Andreja Pejic, Alexander Beyer and Suki Waterhouse. Edmund Butt (Bancroft, Life on Mars, Finding Alice, Ashes to Ashes, Origin, Mistress) has composed the film’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Kotomi (aka Lauren Culjak) (Love, Victor, Long Weekend, With Love, Judy Blume Forever, Diamond in the Rough) has released a soundtrack album for the comedy drama The Year Between. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. The Year Between is written and directed by Alex Heller and stars Heller herself, J. Smith-Cameron, Wyatt Oleff, Kyanna Simone, Emily Robinson, Rajeev Jacob and Steve Buscemi. The movie follows a college dropout who moves back home to the suburbs where she is diagnosed with a mental illness and learns to coexist with her well-meaning and aggravated family, while navigating a new normal. Vincent Jones (Up All Night, Grown-ish, F Is for Family, We Are the Champions) has recently scored the upcoming comedy drama Bucky F**king Dent. The film is written and directed by David Duchovny (who previously helmed the 2004 feature House of D) and stars Duchovny himself, Logan Marshall-Green, Stephanie Beatriz, Evan Handler, Jason Beghe, Pamela Adlon and Daphne Rubin-Vega. The movie based on Duchovny’s own book of the same name follows an aimless thirty-something man who moves back in with his father after learning of his terminal illness. ‘Human Resources’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated series Human Resources. The album features seven original songs from the Big Mouth spin-off’s second season composed by  Mark Rivers (Parks and Recreation, Lucky Louie, Human Giant) and performed by voice cast members Keke Palmer, Nick Kroll, Rosie Perez, Niecy Nash, Franny London and Rivers himself. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released a digital single featuring three songs from Season 1 last year. Human Resources is created by Kelly Galuska, Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin & Jennifer Flackett and also stars Aidy Bryant, Randall Park, Maya Rudolph, David Thewlis, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Maria Bamford, Ali Wong, Bobby Cannavale, Pamela Adlon and Tim Robinson. Republic Records has released a digital single featuring two tracks from the first episode of the HBO original series The Idol. Available to stream/download now is the show’s main theme, The Lure, composed by series co-creator/star Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Mike Dean, as well as the song World Class Sinner / I’m a Freak written by The Weeknd & Asa Taccone and performed by lead actress Lily-Rose Depp. Also listen to both tracks after the jump. Madison Gate Records has released a new EP featuring five covers of Post Malone’s & Swae Lee’s Sunflower from and inspired by the animated feature Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The covers of the song, which was originally written for 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, are performed by Badal, Isabella Lovestory, El HueyCoyote, Lismar & ZoZi and are now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
