Premiering tomorrow, February 23, is the CBS drama CIA created by Dick Wolf & David Hudgins and starring Tom Ellis, Nick Gehlfuss, Natalee Linez and Necar Zadegan. The show’s original music is composed by Atli Örvarsson (Silo, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Defending Jacob, The Edge of Seventeen, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Rams, Vantage Point, Chicago Fire/PD/Med, The Eagle).Check out our previous news article to learn more about the FBI spinoff, which will air Monday nights on CBS and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.

Also premiering tomorrow following a special premiere episode last month is the NBC comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins created by Robert Carlock & Sam Means and starring Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander, Precious Way, Bobby Moynihan, and Jalyn Hall. Jack Grabow has composed the theme for the show. The series, which follows a disgraced former football star on a mission to rehabilitate his image with the help of award-winning filmmaker who. also has to confront the ghosts of his past in order to earn back the admiration of his fans and the respect of his family, will air every Monday night on NBC and will also be available to stream on Peacock. ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Soundtrack Album Released

WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Dan Romer (Luca, Lilo & Stitch, Station Eleven, Maniac, Superman & Lois, Beasts of No Nation, The Good Doctor, Beasts of the Southern Wild). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is created by George R. R. Martin & Ira Parker based on Martin’s novella The Hedge Knight and stars Peter Claffey, Dexter Sol Ansell, Daniel Ings Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel, Tanzyn Crawford and Sam Spruell. The fantasy drama is set a century before the events of Game of Thrones and follows centers on the heroic adventures of an unexpected duo: the naïve but courageous knight Ser Duncan the Tall and his diminutive squire Egg. Ludwig Göransson Wins BAFTA Award for ‘Sinners’ Score

Ludwig Göransson has received his second BAFTA Award for his music for Ryan Coogler’s Sinners in the Original Score category at today’s 2024 EE British Academy Film Awards ceremony in London. He previously received his first BAFTA for his score from Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in 2024. The other composers nominated in the category were Jerskin Fendrix (Bugonia), Alexandre Desplat (Frankenstein), Max Richter (Hamnet) and Jonny Greenwood (One Battle After Another). Chris Roe (The Salt Path, Blue Jean, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue,  After Love, Trigger Point, Lancaster, Wolf) has provided the original score for the new ITV drama The Lady. The show is written by Debbie O’Malley (All Creatures Great & Small) and stars Mia McKenna-Bruce, Natalie Dormer, Ed Speleers, Philip Glenister, Claire Skinner, Ophelia Lovibond, Laura Aikman, Mark Stanley, Daniel Ryan and Sean Teale. The 4-parter directed by Lee Haven Jones (The Feast, Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story) charts the rise and fall of former royal dresser Jane Andrews, whose rags to riches fairy tale fell apart when she was convicted of murder. ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Music Team Wins Annie Award

The music team of Sony Pictures Animation’s Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters was honored with the Annie Award in the Feature category at tonight’s 53rd Annie Awards ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Sony Pictures’ President of Music Spring Aspers, composer Marcelo Zarvos and songwriter Mark Sonnenblick accepted the award in person at the event. The other contenders in the category were Arnaud Toulon for Arco, Rob Simonsen for Elio, Mari Fukuhara for Little Amélie or the Character of Rain and Shakira, Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin & Michael Giacchino for Zootopia 2.

Atli Örvarsson (Silo, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Vantage Point, Defending Jacob,The Edge of Seventeen, Rams, The Eagle) is scoring the new CBS drama CIA. The show is the third spinoff to the network’s hit drama FBI and stars Tom Ellis, Nick Gehlfuss, Natalee Linez and Necar Zadegan. The series follows  two unlikely partners – a fast-talking, rule-breaking CIA case officer and a by-the-book, seasoned FBI agent who believes in the rule of law – who are are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station and must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the faith-based drama I Can Only Imagine 2 directed by Andrew Erwin & Brent McCorkle (Jesus Revolution, Unsung Hero, Steve McQueen: American Icon, Unconditional) and starring John Michael Finley, Milo Ventimiglia, Sophie Skelton, Arielle Kebbel, Trace Adkins, Sammy Dell and Dennis Quaid. McCorkle has also composed the film’s original score. Fair Trade Services has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie performed by MercyMe, Finley & others, as well as selections of the score today. Also opening wide is the comedy thriller How to Make a Killing written and directed by John Patton Ford and starring Glen Powell, Margaret Qualley, Jessica Henwick, Topher Grace, Bill Camp, Zach Woods and Ed Harris. The film’s original music is composed by Emile Mosseri (Minari, Kajillionaire, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Homecoming, Preparation for the Next Life, When You Finish Saving the World, Stutz). Greedy Heart Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Atlantic Records has released the third song from the soundtrack for the slasher sequel Scream 7. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is CREEPIN co-written (with BYNX & Derek Anderson) and performed by Don Toliver. Roc Chen (Ne Zha 2, The Wandering Earth, Chinese Zodiac, 7 Guardians of the Tomb, Unexpected Family, Switch, Stoker Hills, Sacrifice) has released a soundtrack album for the Chinese sports action comedy drama Pegasus 3. The album features the composer’s original score from the film, as well as his original song Fascination Dreams. Pegasus 3 is directed by Han Han and stars Shen Teng, Yin Zheng, Steven Dasz, Benyu Zhang, Xiang Wei, Yi Sha and Chengcheng Fan. Walt Disney Records has released the original song Save the Day from Pixar Animation Studios’ feature Hoppers. The track co-written (with Rob Bisel & Ben Lovett) and performed by SZA is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
