Opening semi-wide in around 350 theaters is the animated feature The Last Whale Singer written and directed by Reza Memari and starring Bruce Dinsmore, Vincent Tong and Jenna Wheeler-Hughes. The film’s original music is composed by Daníel Bjarnason (The Deep, I’ll Be Your Mirror, Under the Tree, Northern Comfort). La Boîte à Fanny has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the original song I’ll Be performed by Ásgeir last Friday.
