Hollywood Records & Marvel Music have released the first track from the soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the Theme from “Quantumania” written by the film’s composer Christophe Beck (Frozen, WandaVision, Free Guy, Hawkeye, The Hangover, Edge of Tomorrow). Lumière Noire Records has released a soundtrack EP for the French adventure drama The Mountain (La montagne). The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Chloé Thévenin (Arthur Rambo, A Decent Man). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. The Mountain is co-written and directed by Thomas Salvador and stars Salvador himself, Louise Bourgoin, Martine Chevallier, Andranic Manet, Laurent Poitrenaux and Sylvain Frendo. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the comedy drama Magic Mike’s Last Dance directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Channing Tatum, Salma Hayek, Ayub Khan Din, Jemelia George, Juliette Motamed and Vicki Pepperdine. The movie doesn’t feature an original score. Season Kent is the film’s music supervisor. Keep Cool & RCA Records have released the song Careful co-written and performed by Lucky Daye today. Opening in select theaters today is the horror thriller Consecration co-written and directed by Christopher Smith and starring Jena Malone, Danny Huston, Thoren Ferguson, Will Keen and Janet Suzma. Nathan Halpern (The Rider, Emily the Criminal, Watcher, Swallow, Minding the Gap) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a woman who goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what happened to her priest brother after he died, is being released by IFC Films. Walt Disney Records has released the first soundtrack album for the Disney Channel animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The album features the songs from the first season of the show, including the theme song Moon Girl Magic written and produced by executive music producer Raphael Saadiq (Lovecraft Country, Insecure, Underground, Black Nativity) and performed by series star Diamond White. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A (green) cassette version is available to order here.
