Dernière bande has released a soundtrack album for the Belgian/French thriller The Other Laurens (L’autre Laurens). The album features the film’s original music composed by Thomas Turine (Carwash). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. The Other Laurens is co-written and directed by Claude Schmitz and stars Olivier Rabourdin, Louise Leroy, Kate Moran, Tibo Vandenborre, Marc Barbé and Edwin Gaffney. The movie follows a private detective who is investigating the death of his niece’s father and finds himself caught up in a strange investigation mixing fantasy and drug trafficking. The thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Directors’ Fortnite (and just had its North American premiere at the Fantastic Fest) and is opening in French theaters today. Yellow Veil Pictures has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release in the U.S. next year.
